I'm glad to hear such shining reviews of the tracks. I listened to the first on when it was released, but I'm holding off from there on until it gets here. I'm fucking aaaaaaaaaamped. Found a sweet new (vintage) turntable at goodwill the other day for $7 too, so I'm going to set up a living room setup, probably listen to it in there if I can get my other (also vintage) amp all fixed up. :)

Sorry, I've been trying to figure out a way to talk about my sweet finds for a minute.

Nice dude. Which goodwill? I went digging the other day and didn’t find much. I’ve been thinking about a secondary setup myself.

  2. Went out to the Portland Horror Film Fest last night. Got to meet Mick Garris which was super rad. And they premiered his new anthology horror film Nightmare Cinema which is fucking awesome. I think it’ll be out on shudder sometime in the near future. Reborn was also another feature film that was a really fun watch. Maybe 8 or 9 short films throughout the night. All for $18. Hell of a good night.

Finally watched the first 3 episodes of the “What We Do In The Shadows” show and holy shit.  I was laughing so hard.  So glad it’s as good as it is.  Pretty sure it got renewed for a second season as well!

The two newest episodes are so good. Some characters from the movie are in it plus Paul Reubens makes an appearance as his character from Buffy.

@The Butcha and I are going to see Slow Crush and Holy Fawn at High Water Mark next Saturday (if he still plans on going). It's in N Portland and I've always enjoyed my time there.

I second the suggestion of Gigantic, and a buddy of mine does some work with Second Profession Brewery. Some good beers and a really laid back atmosphere.

What kind of food are you into?

Hopefully will be able to make it. Working on replacing my closer at the restaurant right now and if I don’t find someone by the weekend I’ll have to be there. So we shall see how the week goes.

Gigantic is fantastic. Never had a beer of theirs I didn’t like. Cascade, the other brewery I mentioned, does only aged sours. Which I love. So if you’re into that sorta thing check them out for sure!
