Have the pre order vinyl already shipped? I didn't think this was out for another month.

Hi guys, So I seem to be having this issue. Trust me I'm not playing it very loud but the more the volume rises, the louder the hum in the speaker gets. The minute i take the needle off the record, Hum disappears. I have a Audio Technica LP120 turntable in which I am using the built in preamp and the turntable plugged directly into my reciever which is a Marantz sr5003. I've heard that the preamp for the ATLP120 is not the greatest. Could this be the problem? Should I actually have a seperate preamp grounded into my receiver? My buddy has a spare behringer microphono pp400 he says I can have if I need it. Would this be a possible fix? Here are some links to pictures of the receiver and preamp. Great event! Picked up 16 LP's ranging from 50 cents to my most expensive purchase of $35 dollars. Seriously good deals to be had if you just looked around a bit. Picked up A little of everything from curent metal to 80s new wave. Met some Great vendors as well. Already looking forward to the next one in Dec.

Criminally Underrated, especially live. Saw them on a bill with La Dispute and Thrice and they blew me away. Will be picking this one up via preorder now.

Any idea when the preorders might go up? Love these two releases. About time they were released on vinyl.

And of course I just purchased it 2 weeks ago from another shop for $25. Excellent record and worth the $25 I paid. Even more worth it at $15.96.

Just ordered. I was really torn between asking for either the blue or yellow. I don't think I actually have any opaque yellow vinyl which looks awesome, but the blue discs looked so good. Really like this band. They have a very cool 80's newave, ambient sound about them imo. Can't wait to listen to the whole thing.

Well I just got confirmation. This is just ONE disc and will be a grab bag of the 4 different colors. Not sure if you will be able to choose the color once they get it in or if they will choose for you. So I asked if I could cancel my order in hopes of getting a better deal directly. He said no problem but couldn't give me my money back, Only store credit. Slightly annoying but I can deal with that as they always have stuff I want.

I just ordered. As they arent giving you color options, I just assumed it was 4 disc package, one color per disc, for under $25 seems like a good deal to me. Am I wrong here? Is SRC really bad? I've ordered from them 3 or 4 times before with no issues. Sorry for the manic tone. I've had red bull, Coffee and Mountain Dew today and am a bit wired now haha.

I bought one of the Vinyl Collective slipmats on ShopRadioCast and it was crazy thin. Like half the thickness of the Audio Technica slipmat that came with my turntable. Is is ok to use on its own or should I just pop it on top of my Audio technica mat?

I think I made the right choice going With the gold. They all look sweet though.

Heres my story, Purchased Sunny Day Real Estate on Vinyl from a seller on Discogs. She sent the package, delivery confirmation etc.. I track it daily and see it is out for delivery from a Maryland post office, which is funny because I live in Virginia, and see a 'delivered' status to someplace also in Maryland. I check with Discogs, def had the correct address, Called USPS, went through about 6 different people until I finally got connected to the delivering Post Office. She did some research and said 'yeah, that is weird. I see it says going to you there in VA but got delivered to the George Washington University bookstore instead. Called the bookstore, they said they sent it back with the postman since they realized immediately it was the wrong address. I call lady back, shes getting a bit rude now. "listen, it will go right back into the system, you're only 30 miles away you should have it in a few days".. THREE weeks later I finally get it. I mean how the hell do you deliver it to the wrong state and number address? Nothing matched the bookstore it was sent to in any way shape or form to my address. I won;t even go into how my neighbors and I are going to each others houses at least once a week to exchange each others mail..USPS.. idiots.

I have friends that ordered early and got shipping confirmations on Tuesday. I also ordered early but I changed my color from white to purple a week ago so I'm sure to be one of the last to receive it. I did get my digital code emailed to me though and have been listening non stop. Really great release. As for them being relevant, They may not be as appreciated here in the US as they should be imo, but they are the actually well loved in europe. The new one charted #22 on the german music charts which is pretty awesome. They constantly tour europe because they are in demand there. Lastly I don't think Nathan would front a side, metal band called I Am Heresy if he was a bible thumping christian. I Am Heresy is damn great BTW.
