I ordered Switchboard last week, but I listened to soundclios for Street Trash on LITA's site and I wasn't moved in the least. Hope I'm not missing something, but I'm taking a pass on this one.

I haven't seen it in person yet, but this is pretty standard fare for Waxwork. The lighting they use can definitely color, if you will, one's perception of an upcoming product away from reality.

I see things like this on Amazon Marketplace all the time. I presume it's some kind of glitch in the software that these larger vendors use for pricing, but sometimes it gets hilarious.

Mondo doesn't typically release pressing info and they continued that practice thus far with this release as far as I know.

Didn't Fincher do the also completely unnecessary remake of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo? I agree completely about his ability, but Utopia is already an English language program. In brief, I don't want to see Fincher, or any great talent, remaking good work (especially current work) when they could use their considerable influence to purchase the rights present the work here in the US and their considerable talent to produce new, original work themselves.

Seconding Ratbrain on all counts. I've read it's been optioned for a US paycable remake, but it's so good now I'm not at all interested.

Mondo fuel. It's delicious, nutritious, and comes in a wide variety of colors and flavors, but sadly it's perpetually sold out and they'll never make it again. You guys really missed out you guys.

Thank goodness! Is Free Run Artists the label or just the composer's management/publicity? I suggested this to DWRC about a year ago and they said they were interested, but who knows what's happened in the intervening months.

Don't get me wrong, I got Death & Vanilla's Vampyr there and and I am too glad! It is maybe my favorite release of the year thus far.

Check your email and your junk mail for a message indicating that yours was one of the many they oversold and/or got delayed at the pressing plant. I know there are still many folks waiting for their version a to ship for this reason.

they've been doing this since they launched their new site a month or so ago. Most times, if you wait a week or so, you can find the records stateside or at least cheaper elsewhere in Europe. There gave been a few I couldn't find anywhere else, but DWRC isn't cheap and their shipping costs are eye watering. Any way you slice it though, it's cool that they're doing this and it's certainly brought more than a few excellent releases to my attention.

Fair point. I don't either, but maybe there is a larger fan base than we're aware of?
