  1. The Hunter is amazing. This is coming from a Mastodon fanboy, but I didn't see anything wrong with the change in direction that was made with this record. Yeah, it was more progressive than sludge, but it's not really that different from Crack the Skye in that regard. Just not Remission or Leviathan, Pt. II like a lot of people wanted. That being said, I'm seeing these guys tomorrow and nothing is more exciting than the fact that I'm gonna see Naked Burn live. So stoked.
  2. Glad that shipping cost didn't scare me away from this release. That is one beautiful looking piece of wax and I cannot wait to have it in my possession. Nice work, Sly.
  3. A bit more optimistic than I. haha Too bad every label isn't Deathwish.
  4. If every band could just put out their records on 180g coloured (or not, I suppose) wax for $20-30, the world would be a better place.
  5. Damn, there was a colored variant? I'd like to echo the previous comment requesting a pic of it; I won't be getting it but I'd like to see it, nonetheless.
  6. Couldn't be more happy with Cave In's Jupiter repress. Sounds amazing and the three rarities are really cool, especially their cover of Dazed & Confused.
  7. And on the third day, Jesus rose and was like "Yo, someone needs to hook me up with that Cake boxset".

those who own it because they like them won't let it go. That's why all the copies are on ebay. I wanted to tuck mine in to bed last night.

Nah, I wasn't looking to get it. Twas merely a joke.

  8. Got the UN repress and, since I was getting 20% off, decided to pick up Axe to Fall on white just because I had been sleeping on that release for a while. Maybe it's overstated, but seriously: Deathwish rules.
  9. We keep talking about individual records, but I'd be all over a box set. I'd be willing to spend over $100 if done correctly. To remain on topic, though, this is awesome. I've been looking for one of the older represses for a while.
  10. Damn, should have kept up with this thread. Didn't know there was a coloured variant. Oh well. I saw the $13 price tag at my local store and had to pick it up. Side note, this album rules. Not saying it's better than the s/t, but the fact none of the tracks are less than a minute (as opposed to half the tracks on the s/t) is a huge plus. Probably my favorite punk release in a while.
  11. That was gut-wrenchingly difficult to pull the trigger on, but ultimately $40 for a double LP of this prestige and rarity is not too shabby, not to mention it's on coloured wax. I'm sure I will be thankful I spent the cash when it comes in late May.
  12. Wow, Sec, you set the bar for generousness at VC and now you've gone and smashed it. What a guy. Thanks, man! Run the Jewels - S/T Kanye West - Yeezus B&N Starburst
  13. An Alchemy Indices repress almost seems like too much to ask, but the day it comes will be a holiday for me.
  14. Glad I held off on buying an earlier press because these look amazing and Lord knows I don't have a lot of money. Today was a good day.
  15. This is tough because Beggars is such an amazing record, but I think I gotta go with I also considered The Bronx (IV), assuming we aren't counting articles at the beginning of album titles.
  16. Mine was still at the post office when I went today. Absolutely beautiful.
  17. So what do we do if the record came to our apartment right after we left to visit family for the holidays and then return only to find three USPS notices, the last of which stating it was going to be returned to sender? I assume this must happen every once in a while to other people.
  18. So is everyone cool with the fact that this is just the two EPs with a few new tracks? I guess it's cool that I can just buy one LP to get all of their stuff instead of all the 10"s, but I'm a little disappointed we aren't getting a full-length entirely composed of new tracks.
