  1. Never owned an earlier press, but this copy sounds great...no qualms with it on my end.
  2. Had to go with the red because my OCD wouldn't let me have two Thrice records on clear wax w/ blue splatter. But I'll admit as sharp as the red looks, the blue is the better looking variant. Basically looks the same as the Botch WATR repress.
  3. When I checked this morning, it said Wednesday. But I just looked again and it's out for delivery. I would check again, m8. Can't wait to get home from work.
  4. Cool, I'll add anyone on the PSN. Username is Cannon_Chow.
  5. Bumping this from the grave. Been playing this a bunch recently but no one else I know is, so I figured I'd see if the VC community was still playing it. Should I try and join the VC crew? Dunno if anyone would even accept the request at this point.
  6. Was just talking to a friend about how I need WTSV and BFTRS. At less than $20 a pop and free shipping, looks like that's what I'm spending my lunch money on today.
  7. I was thinking about getting purple, but there's just something intriguing about the green being hidden from the ETID main page. haha
  8. It's probably unnecessary, but thank you to all involved who helped clear the air on this whole "bootleg" incident. A lot of people, including myself, would tend to believe the artist more often than not just because it is their music, after all, but you guys have made the pursuit of truth much easier via this thread, which I appreciate. And thanks to MOV for not putting up with Cedric's bullshit and giving the people what they want.
  9. This record is even more beautiful in person, as hard as it is to imagine that. I'll probably be spinning it most of today.
  10. Say Goodbye to General Figment of the U.S.S. Imagination...easily my favorite track on the LP, both musically and for its title.
  11. Got my silver and it is more or less everything I had hoped for in terms of sound quality and packaging. Hard to believe I paid the same amount of money on this as I did on the MOV Devil and God repress, considering how much better this is put together. Unfortunately it had two pretty big seems splits in the top, but that's another thing altogether.
  12. Same! The delivery date for me has been next Monday since it has shipped, but out of the blue I got a text saying it was delivered this afternoon. Can't wait to get home and give it and the other record I got today a spin.
  13. I thought that Shining shirt they had was awesome, too. I was super stoked they decided to play this live. I've had the studio version of this as a bonus track on Opus since I downloaded it, but didn't think I'd ever hear it live. Ghost has never disappointed when I've seen them.
  14. As if I couldn't get more excited for this release... This sounds amazing. As a relative n00b to the vinyl game, that forked groove concept is easily the most exciting idea I've heard, even more than the GJ Coloring Book ordeal.
  15. Everything about that cover screams Mastodon. Even the font. Where is the script 'I'? I dunno how I feel about that. Still, the fact this is coming so soon is very, very exciting.
  16. Really? Color me interested. I'd like to get my hands on a copy of the first EP, too. But a new album? Best thing I've heard all month.
  17. I love Mastodon, but if you're gonna sign your records, don't modify the pricetag. That is serious flipper-esque bullshit. Good thing the only thing I'm considering picking up tonight is some Gojira wax if the price is right.
  18. I'm agreeing and disagreeing with this. Yes, progressive music is usually conceptually-based, but most people associate progressive music with a certain degree of experimental and complex sound. If prog is only a unified theme, then anyone that does a concept record is prog. And I didn't say that it was more progressive than Crack the Skye, simply that those two had more of a progressive metal feel to them than Remission and Leviathan. But that's just, like, my opinion, man.
  19. I have to have Them on wax. That isn't even a question. I also want the other three but in the best interest of my wallet I'll probably just get Them and maybe Abigail or Melissa. If they had spaced these four releases apart, I probably would have gotten all four. Still might if they don't sell out within one month's time.
  20. But I'm not paying >$40 for this 2xLP just for the quadruple gatefold and lithographs. I'm not that much of a fanboy, that's for sure. Probably gonna have to go for the Elusive Disc version.
