Totally understandable. I guess I just jumped on the BN bandwagon too late in the game (I knew that, though). Still thought that change in the lyrics was a nice touch.

Damn, the Pittsburgh show has been the only one they cut out Boy Who Blocked and Quiet Things in favor of a Soco closer. I'm sure some people were okay with that, but it's upsetting to me. Largely why I left the show kinda disappointed. Really thinking seeing them on Jesse's birthday was a bad thing, now. From the people who did get to see these songs peformed live (especially for the first time), how were they? They're two of my favorites from Deja, so I would definitely have had high expectations for them.

Saw that and did an about face. There was a large pile of vomit right on the side of the street as you left the venue, too. I am astounded at how poorly the Brand New crowd seemed to handle their beer. Most I've ever seen at a show.

Yeah, if I was a betting man I'd put my money on them sticking around a little longer than that. But now that I got to see them and since they seem to be putting out a new album soonish, I think I'm okay, either way.

Also, I guess we shouldn't expect Brand New to last longer than 2018, if Jesse keeps his promise. He told us that he turned 36 and that he thought he could promise that he wouldn't be doing it when he's 41. Seemed like a joke, but I guess you never know...

I had two free tickets, but couldn't find anyone else that wanted to go, so I just gave my second one to a rando outside the venue. Twas a pretty good show.

Ah, I see. That would make sense, similar to them mistaking it for the CD. I still think the reason it is on most of those best selling lists is because they put the price so low. Mentally preparing to make this phone call.

I can't believe there are still people who haven't gotten this yet. That's unfortunate. At least it should be worth the wait, especially if you're like me and never owned any of the previous presses.

Honestly, I really don't care how this ends up. Whether it's clear or black wax, it's better than the noisy copy I currently own. And if they go back on their price and change it to something unreasonable, then I'll cancel. Incredibly low risk, in my opinion.

I think they were going for a "zebra" pressing with this one. Maybe it could have been executed better.

Anyone else gonna see these guys when they do their little tour in the fall? I bought the box set and I'm pumped they're coming to Pittsburgh in August.

As soon as they said they had an announcement today at noon, I think everyone knew this was gonna be it. Going to the Milvale date, for sure. I'll make sure to get there a couple hours to miss as much of the trainwreck that will be those openers as possible.
