  1. Plenty of early 90s British stuff lately. The Boo Radleys Early Manic Street Preachers. Slowdive Stone Roses Most specifically.
  2. When I started buying records (young & naive) I told myself I'd buy all the Mars Volta 12", then I saw the prices on discogs and stopped, chronologically, at De-loused...
  3. The bass tone on the original Promise Everything really held the songs together and made it full. There was no real excitement to the new recording. The album as a whole grew on my more and more, I enjoy it as a full listen and really got to enjoy Halo and For You The Moon more and more. Still won't see the need in grabbing a new copy of this record.
  4. Ordered from SRC on amazon.ca and spent much less on shipping. Wasn't aware of this press, so pleasantly surprised. Sound quality so/so... unless my needle is dusty.
  5. Turned 30 and my girlfriend had all my good friends surprise me at a chalet on a river. (best birthday ever) and we bought a dog in 2016, get him in a few weeks. Pretty huge. As far as the quality of 2016, it was one of the best years yet when it comes to health and happiness. What a great year in that respect. Hoping for an even better 2017

  7. I'm getting a dog in a few weeks, so I got some toys and things for him to have, which is awesome. On the music front, my sister got me Slowdive - Souvlaki and my mom got me Sunny Day Real Estate - How it feels... Always nice to open up some long awaited records.
  8. ^^^ Not sure where y'all are from (Han Solo is from Space, where it's cold, I hear) but I live far East coast of Canada where we actually had school cancelled today because of cold weather and high winds lol. I've had CDs crack into pieces, which always had me worried about buying records and not being home once they arrive... but so far 100% success at buying intact-when-cold records.
  9. I scored this too a year ago for that price! Not a lot of BTS fans around here, plus I don't live in a big city, so a lot of great records collect dust in shops, allowing a discounted price down the road... Also, picked up Magnolia by Turnover last week and my amp broke... just got it back and got to spin some today.
  10. Crazy! But how that can go unnoticed for 4.5 years is really getting to me - shit box barrier and all.

  12. Not adding new here, but solidifying the vote for the MOV press. Spun it many times since buying it last year. Solid sounding pressing. Paid 28$ CAD when it came out, which is cheap as hell for records online, shipped to Canada.
  13. Shitty. I wonder if it says that even if the code has been used. I already have this album digitally, so I can guarantee on my end it was unused...

  19. Grabbed it (or one there are more than one) Thanks!
  20. How does one acquire a variant that we are not allowed to request??????? ^^^^
  21. Say Hi To You Are Mom is apparently available due to a 2009 typographical error in this thread.
  22. ^^^ Is the 12" 180g? The deluxe is standard black so should be normal, unless I'm missing something in your post.
