UO now delayed until 9/13.

i ordered my AHIG from Acousticsounds.com and the listing page says backordered effective today with a "NEW" tag on it.  Previously it said expected release date 8/26, my order also still reflects backorder.

Curious if all the variants are going to be 45rpm or if it's just the black tour exclusive.  Does anyone know?  I don't see that it's been mentioned anywhere.

I snagged a black indie exclusive for $20.  I'm wondering where more music is.  Pretty sure we were supposed to be looking out for more at the end of May.

Just got an email from UPS that a tracking number delivered to my address was created and expected to arrive by Saturday.  It's coming from WEA ECOMM GNARLYWOOD and I'm fairly sure that's where some of my other Coheed merch has been shipped out from.  Don't have any other POs I'm expecting this month so I'm sure that's what it is.  Looking forward to hearing this new album.  I POed the D2C variant.

Yeah, I can wait a day to here the song.  Super excited about this though as TMV is one of my all-time favorites.  There's not a weak album in their discography, in my opinion.

New song is what I expected, run of the mill Russian Circles.

I'm actually working on thinning out my collection a bit and i've got several Russian Circles albums on the chopping block if anyone is interested.  I'm keeping Station and Geneva (far and away their best 2 albums imo) but everything else I have by them is going away.  Specifically the following:

Received my copy today, I've already listened to it.  Sounds great aside from some minor crackles and few pops.  Probably just needs a good cleaning, didn't have the time to get out all my cleaning stuff.  The record was inside the printed inner sleeve and i think there may have been some static from that too.  Seemed to take forever to get this and especially for a single LP.  Ah well, just glad to own it on vinyl, great album.

Haven't gotten shipping notification yet, looking forward to it.

I love Angelo Badalamenti's work on Lynch's movies and Twin Peaks.  He does such a great job of adding to that unsettling mood that's present in everything Lynch does.  My personal favorite is Mulholland Drive.  I love Angelo's cameo as the executive who just can't seem to get an acceptable shot of espresso.

I think I got my digital copy from their bandcamp.  Think the digital copy that comes with the vinyl will be in the jacket when it comes.

Yep, I can confirm that my Iowa from Amazon was in a mailer inside a bag.  Thank god they didn't just put a record in a bag with no mailer.  I would've been pissed haha.

Yeah i've been waiting on this one too.  Played the crap out of my digital copy, such a good album.  Failure never fails to deliver tasty jams.  I got a black copy and t-shirt coming.

My Iowa shipped this morning from Amazon, expected delivery on Friday.

If it does, I'll have to pick that one up too.  Not my favorite Slipknot album but I like it ok and don't have it on vinyl.

thanks, I was able to snag the 2019 clear with gray City of Evil pressing!  Always seem to miss this one when it gets reissued and afterwards good luck finding a copy under $100.

I'm glad Iowa was the only one I needed.  The piss yellow S/T and this hello kitty magenta vol. 3 colors are fucking eyesores.

Got mine today, will listen to it at some point when I've got a quiet house.  I gotta say though, Acoustic Sounds is fucking fantastic at packing records for shipment.  Mine came in a thick cardboard suitcase (complete with a carrying handle), nestled perfectly in the middle with about 3 inches of cardboard give all the way around and bubble wrap.  Could throw it off the roof and it wouldn't get damaged.

Yeah, i'd just take it back to where you got it and swap it out for a new one.  Let them sort that crap out.  It's very clear there are plenty of these available so you should just exchange it.  I wouldn't waste time trying to get a replacement disc.

Probably going to be a bunch of people disappointed on release date when their pre-order goes straight to backordered status because Amazon likes to take in more pre-orders than they can fulfill.

Also, either the mockups are deceitful or this is going to be coke bottle opaque because they don't look like clear/translucent with any of the mockups I've seen.  Either way, I'd prefer it on standard black, but going to just have to take what is given in this case.
