Hmmm. Discogs reviews are pretty positive too. I might have to check it out. Huge huge Cure fan but my collection is seriously lacking.
The only thing that really bothers me is the way it's packaged with part of the album cover being printed on the sleeve and the rest being filled in with the picture disc image. It's petty... but it takes more work than it should to get the record back in the sleeve so that the album cover is lined up correctly and yes, i must do that. lol

Tried to grab a copy and got thwarted at place order button both times. I guess I should've been on right at noon ET, didn't expect these to sell like Glassjaw records, it's Ren & Stimpy......

Fucking Cure picture discs. At least Pornography is easy to find. Still annoyed about Bloodflowers only getting a picture disc a couple years ago.
I actually picked up both Bloodflowers and Wild Mood Swings on the picture discs against my better judgment just because they were also missing from my collection. They're not awful to listen to but I'd buy proper reissues in a heartbeat to replace them.

Yeah, that’s definitely my angle… I can stop sharing these links just the same, sorry they didn’t stay in stock for you four hours later…
I didn’t even know when that was pressed, but looks like it’s selling for $100 on discogs. 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
I'm just teasin, chill out. I know that's not what happened. I was too slow to catch it and bummed about it. You're good!

I'm going to start posting random out of stock links to threads and yell "it's back!" just to raise people's hopes only to destroy them when they see it's out of stock again, making them think they missed a 30-second window to snag 1 of 5 stragglers somebody found hiding behind the counter at the store.
Well played sir.

Tired of not seeing Alice In Chains Self-titled and The Cure Wish on these lists. There must be some reason I'm not aware thwarting reissues of these fantastic albums that cost an arm and a leg for OPs.
That said, I'm somewhat interested in Stevie Nicks, AIC, Kittie, and Collective Soul in the list.

I've kept my mouth shut about those. It seems to be some project that Interscope is pushing with their classic catalog releases. Horrendous re-imagined artwork with a price tag of $2,500 a pop. And supposedly all proceeds go to charity. And each releases is limited to 100.
Yeah, I saw something about that on Facebook I think. I looked at it and laughed loudly. Just foofy artwork made for foofy people with money. I'll just pretend it doesn't exist.

Knowing Trent though, I can see him reissuing Year Zero finally while also dropping a surprise sequel to it or something. It's been REALLY quiet on the NIN front for a really long time now and they ARE finally returning to live shows this year.
Yep, I could definitely see that happening. With all that's been going on in the world, specifically the pandemic, seems like there's some fuel there for continuing the concept.

Thread bumping to say a few things:
1. Where in the world is our Year Zero reissue? This is turning into the wait for a new Tool album.
2. I really hope Further Down the Spiral gets a pressing someday. Every time my shuffle plays a track from this album, I have to go and play the whole album and get reminded every time how great of a remix album it is.

Yeah I pre-ordered this as well. I love that new I Am Nothing single, sounds like classic SW to me. And that cover art is incredible.

Just popped in to say if anyone missed this, I was able to find a copy of it new from Shuga Records in Chicago for about half the price it's going for on discogs. I missed it when it initially came out so I'm happy to pay a $30 late fee and snag it for $65 shipped. Looks like they may have more, it's not saying out of stock.

Happiness is coming according to SRC:

Yeah, I just saw the email from SRC and immediately began searching to see what label was putting this out finally. Sony I think in Canada only. I'm in for this regardless, it's the last OLP album I have the need for in my collection.

The acoustic version was from the deluxe cd back in the day. Hopefully it's an expanded 2xLP reissue with the bonus tracks.
Yeah, I knew I had heard this acoustic version of the song before. Not finding much except some speculation of an acoustic album, a remastered/reissue of the album, and some other stuff about Amory Wars (like possibly the announcement for an animated series). I have been wanting SSTB in my collection for awhile, just not enough to put up the price for a used copy, so that's what I'm hoping for. I'm probably in for an acoustic album too if that happens.
-
So there's a countdown clock on the Coheed and Cambria website set for about 24 hours from now with a video of a dragonfly and an acoustic version of a SSTB song playing. Reissue? Acoustic album? Let's talk about this.

The drums during part of the song sound identical to the main drum riff from Reflection on Lateralus.

I wanna hear what it’s building to. Shits tight but it seems like it’s about to get wild on the next track.
My thoughts exactly.

Do either one of these shops do mail-order?
Not sure, my shop is Finders Records and they don't have an online store I don't think. You could try and call them at (419) 352-7677

Still trying to track it down, myself. Was this one of the ones where shipments were delayed? I went to four stores and each one either never received it, or only got one copy in
The store I went to yesterday had about 5 of them from what I remember, just wasn't something I was looking to snag.

the margin was nice so I'm not upset we sold them, what has bugged me a little is seeing some of these big dog stores selling everything for below MSRP. They have multiple locations or do big business in new vinyl all year, so they get 50 copies of some titles and sell them cheaper and for a 1 store operation like the one I work for we get severely allocated and don't even get the 8 copies of major titles we ordered, and I look like I'm gouging customers when $74.99 was MSRP on South Park.
Oh, I don't doubt that one bit. The store I went to is Finders Records in Bowling Green Ohio. The place is a vinyl monster, HUGE inventory. Pretty sure they got a bunch of almost everything they ordered for. I asked about the Twin Peaks Soundtrack and the girl said they ordered it but didn't get any, so I was kind of surprised by that, considering it looked as though they had AT LEAST one of every thing else on the list.

$74.99 I was surprised to sell both by noon
i saw it for $70 yesterday at my local shop. Too rich for me, definitely due to the packaging and all the extra stuff that not everyone wants to spend the extra coin on.

Vintage Vinyl's site does have RSD releases available to buy right now. I looked all over this morning for the Twin Peaks Season 2 soundtrack and they were the only site i found that had it available to buy today. Although I can see it has since disappeared from their site. Didn't see The Crow or some others that people in this thread are hunting for, but here's the link:

Good lookin out, but my discogs order has already been shipped. I found a 1st pressing translucent orange one for $44 + shipping. I think the orange looks pretty cool anyways. The cassette tape i had of this as a kid was orange, so works for me.
