  1. Yeah, i'm also definitely in for Sponge. And as highfives said, I hope Wax Ecstatic gets a pressing too, that's also a good album.
  2. yeah man, just want to change my shipping address. if it ends up shipping and USPS doesn't lose it and it shows up to my new home, i'm all set. i just don't want to count on that. probably because i don't move often and idk how good USPS is with mail forwarding.
  3. this is the only picture i can find on the internet. i can see the insert and the bottom left and bottom middle are the stabbing westward albums, sponge rotting pinata is a little clearer to see in the top right. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bg1TaVBFiR6/?taken-by=wargodcollective
  4. I honestly couldn't say. I have never actually given that Horrorscope album a listen. The only Eve 6 album i'm familiar with is the self-titled one, which is a great album, I did pick that one up.
  5. I'd buy that Fenix TX album. God, i completely forgot about that album.
  6. Powerman 5000 - Mega! Kung Fu Radio Sinch - Self-titled and Clearing the Channel (these guys are sooooo under-rated) Our Lady Peace - Happiness... Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch Relative Ash - Our Time With You Reveille - Laced and Bleed the Sky Staind - Dysfunction (this is such a great album, don't care much for anything they did beyond it) System of a Down - ALL ALBUMS Local H - Pack Up the Cats Lifer - Self-titled (one and only album by this band and it's a great one imo, would buy this in a heartbeat) Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual (a PROPER pressing, the reissue done some years ago was god awful, OG pressing still the only thing worth owning) Ill Nino - Revolution Revolucion (kick ass nu metal album, the sophomore follow-up Confession was pretty good, but everything after has been crap imo) Hum - Downward Is Heavenward (Matt Talbot from the band has his own label and was supposedly reissuing this but haven't heard a word in almost 2 years) Flaw - Through The Eyes and Endangered Species (both incredible albums. i know for sure Through The Eyes would sell like hotcakes. never been pressed) Finger Eleven - Tip and The Greyest of Blue Skies Clutch - Self-titled Chevelle - Point #1, Hats Off To The Bull, Vena Sera, Sci-Fi Crimes, and La Gargola Breaking Benjamin - Saturate, We Are Not Alone, and Phobia Boy Hits Car - Self-titled Alice in Chains - Self-titled 36 Crazyfists - A Snow-capped Romance and Rest Inside the Flames My wishlist is getting smaller, so that's progress i suppose!
  7. I was made aware of this via the Fuel Sunburn thread some weeks ago. Apparently there is an insert in the Eve 6 Horrorscope Wargod pressing that has these two Stabbing Westward albums coming soon. Thought I'd start up a thread for this already. There might only be a handful of people on VC board as excited as I am about these. Maybe Wargod will stop in and provide us with updates on it.
  8. Don't think I've listened to that EP yet, I'll have to check that out.
  9. On a more positive note, how great is this band? I really only got around to absorbing their music within the past couple of months. I've had them in my digital new music pile on my computer for almost a year probably. I actually listened to Waking Season first all the way through and it blew my mind. Then Four Trees, Dust and Disquiet and Tertia. All are great front to back. I still haven't found another post-rock/post-metal band that i like as much as If These Trees Could Talk, but these guys are pretty damn close.
  10. Ok. Because I'm really not trying to be combative or whiny here. I even considered just placing another order to my new address, that way I feel more relaxed that I'm going to receive at least one of them and if I get both, hell... I'll just sell one of them off. But you know... moving expenses... got a lot of expenses creeping on the comeup that are a lot more important. I probably should've just held off on buying anything at all until after i was moved and none of this would be a problem.
  11. It's not a matter of time here. It's a matter of these people not responding to their customers. I want to cancel my order, and perhaps put in another order with a new shipping address but since i can't make a connection with them, my only option is to take it up with paypal. Is that wrong?
  12. It's whatever, this is the first time I've attempted to do business with them and i suppose it's just coincidental with a rare occasion that i'm in a position of moving addresses. Ordered the record assuming it was already released and ready to go and that i would have it prior to moving. Normally i wouldn't mind the delay, it really hasn't been very long from the initial release date which i believe was late may/early june. I just don't trust USPS mail forwarding to get it to me at my new address. So when i shoot them an email asking them to update my shipping address (3 times over the course of 2 weeks) and i don't get a response, that rubs me the wrong way. People can defend them all they want, doesn't change the fact their customer service skills are in the toilet. And as i said before, only being 2 people running it doesn't give them a pass. If they can't run their business and take care of their customers on their own, they need to get help, plain and simple. Shit... I'd even be willing to cancel the order and place a new one with my updated shipping address, but they don't even have THAT option and since you can't make a connection to them with an email it leaves you with no other option.
  13. yeah, this is a great album. It's going into my collection for sure.
  14. I actually put in a dispute with Paypal to get my money back. I don't care if it is only 2 people running their operation, apparently they need to hire help. I sent them 3 emails asking for a status and there's been zero response. If I wasn't moving this weekend I would be ok just waiting it out, I'm just super worried that USPS mail forwarding would somehow lose the package when it finally gets shipped and they're not responding to my request to change the shipping address so screw it. Also, I'm not one of the people that even got a tracking number for a printed shipping label.
  15. Haha, you all have way too much time on your hands.
  16. Oh damn! My bad, i'm retarded apparently. Such likeness in the artwork. that's awesome that's up, thanks for the heads up, i'll be getting this too.
  17. that's interesting, a 2nd press? i got communication from them that my pre-order from the first time around is projected to ship either today or tomorrow.
  18. i wish Mylene Sheath would ship these Four Trees records. i was under the impression these were already released when i ordered one of the red variants last week. i wouldn't worry so much except for i'm moving on the 23rd of this month and i just don't trust USPS mail forwarding.
  19. Just finally got around to listening to the new song. My thoughts are that it's just ok, not great but not bad either. The drums stand out to me, I love Jimmy Chamberlin's drumming, always have. I guess they're performing on the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday, might be an interesting thing to watch, especially if D'arcy shows up in disguise and starts a fight on live tv.
  20. has anyone's Four Trees actually made it past the shipping label created stage?
  21. I personally really enjoyed Oceania, I thought that kid they got to play the drums was exceptional. The Chimera is probably my favorite track on there, thought it was very reminiscent of the old SP sound. Just like pepperonigin, Monuments didn't grab me either, but I don't know that I've given it enough of a chance yet.
  22. I can't unhear the buttrock sound now. thanks. to be fair though, we ALL know that Dustin can sing. So we can never say that Thrice has turned into something like Creed or Nickelback, that would be incorrect. Also, I really don't think the lyrics lack any significant meaning either, as many of the biggest butts of rock have a tendency to lack. I'm trying to figure out if this new song is about something specific, IE Dustin being at odds with the church, or just a more general kind of thing. Without a doubt though many of the songs from TBEITBN have a strong "made for radio" sound and also this new song. All that being said, I still like TBEITBN and the new song.
  23. I definitely like that new track. I'm definitely interested in the prospect of recollecting a copy of Beggars should Epitaph do a reissue campaign with Thrice material since I foolishly sold my copy a couple years ago to get some quick cash.
  24. I'd be in for that, but what I'd really really like to see is a first pressing of Scarlet's Walk. I love my deluxe cd copy of that with her polaroid style picture inserts and the big map of the US showing her route and where she was when she wrote each of the songs. They could really do great things with vinyl packaging for that.
