Yeah, i just got all excited for nothing... this is a highly anticipated reissue. i'd recommend thoroughly searching the net in Tori forums and reading up before creating new threads here and crushing people with a false flag. To answer your question though... the last time I read up on it, maybe a month ago, it seems it may be on hold for the time being because Tori is going through some personal life stuff. But it's eventually going to happen.

I'm thinking of doing the same. Add Violence is still available at Amazon and it's been months and months. No physical component for this one apart from t-shirts, buttons, slipmat and stuff I'm not dying to have nor can really afford right now. Amazon seems like the winner in this situation.

Blockhead is my fave. He's the reason I got into this genre. Instrumental hip-hop is probably my favorite music to listen to while I'm working (i have a desk job). I'll check it out later tonight. Thanks for the recommend.

Anyone into the Chillhop Essentials seasonal album series? I just recently, within the last month or so, discovered these collections and not only are they fantastic compilations, they're also a great source for me to discover new lofi/triphop artists. I put in a PO for the Spring 2018 vinyl. Been looking at getting back catalog vinyl but have only been able to secure Fall 2017 so far. Anything before that is pretty high up there in market value and I'm just not in a position to unload a bunch of money on it.

Many of these are still sadly waiting for some vinyl love. Reissue or first pressing. Listening to Finger Eleven's Tip this morning, such an underrated album.

I wonder if it would work to try and take advantage of BB's price match guarantee by referencing the NIN store listing... probably not because A. it's sold out at the NIN store and B. NIN store probably doesn't qualify as a "competitor" of BB. I feel like Best Buy sets their own price on this stuff. I remember not long ago when we discovered they had the vietnam war score listed for dirt cheap compared to everywhere else and it was clearly a mistake in the price but they had to honor it for the people that were quick enough to snag one for what was it, like $17 or 18 shipped? Maybe someone over there is privy to the fact this was a release from 6 years ago that today seems to sell from between $400-600.

Doesn't the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo vinyl fetch a ton of money? Apparently Best Buy has at least 1 in stock for only $399.99. Still too rich for my blood, but maybe someone in here would be interested. I thought they were limited to 3,000 copies, numbered and all signed by Trent and Atticus. Indeed. I actually prefer the version that was put on Deadwing as a bonus track over the version on Lightbulb Sun too. It is a very good song.

The disclaimer at checkout stated that all orders are set to be fulfilled by october 26th of this year unless otherwise stated. and throughout the wait for my full-length physical copy around that time, the EPs are going to be made available to us throughout that time frame. I think it's a fantastic idea actually. Getting the album in pieces over the next 7-8 months so at least we have the new music to listen to, i'm all about that.

i remember specifically saying something about sandbag handling the AI reissue and foretelling that they would somehow screw it up, and they did. i feel very fortunate that i got my copy in the first batch, if i recall i think my girlfriend shook me awake at around 7:30 or 8am Eastern time telling me that the pre-orders were live early and we needed to put in our orders quick. i think that was something like 6 or 7 hours after it went live and 4 or 5 hours before it was SUPPOSED to go live. it is most certainly messed up that people who ordered before other people had to wait (especially if they are someone who does care about getting a numbered copy) and it makes absolutely no sense to me that sandbag couldn't just ship to people in the order that the orders were received and instead do this really sort of bizarre random pecking to determine who would get the first batch copies and who would have to wait for the 2nd batch. but that's sandbag for you... i first dealt with those people when NIN switched from firebrand to sandbag for their reissues, what a clusterfuck that was... but it's like... what can you do? they've got you by the balls. which makes it even more infuriating.

i meant mostly that the people in the fb group are annoying in other ways, but ok. i would have been bothered that i had to wait longer when i had my order in before someone else that ordered hours later but as far as the numbered thing, i couldn't care less. i know it's important to some people, but not to me.

i haven't really followed anything about it since i had received my first batch copy. the people in the fb group though seemed very surprised and pissed off about the 2nd batch not being numbered though. it's a pretty annoying group, i should just leave it. haha

i've pledged already for the $100 bundle. no-brainer with as good as their comeback The Heart Is A Monster was in my opinion. The way I read it is it sounds like there are actually going to be 3 EPs released all leading up to a full-length album? Does that sound like they're going to release the full length album a little at a time via EP releases? and would that be digital only? i don't see anything physical for the references to EPs.

i saw in a facebook group that the 2nd batch is not numbered. so all of you in the 2nd batch are actually so terrible that you don't even get a number. is anyone super upset by that, like legitimately?

got the same update email (god bless burning shed for actually keeping their customers updated on order status btw... companies like sandbag could learn a valuable lesson from them...). haven't gotten shipping notification yet but not sweating it.

If those all get individual releases I would be in for a few of those titles. What I'd really like to get my hands on though is WZ's Supersexy Swingin' Sounds. There's a crazy price market for the OG pressings of that. EDIT: reading the post again I see where it says all but HD2 are available for individual pre-order on standard weight LPs.

Same. i have standard black SRC press (originally had the solid white and THAT one had a lot of surface noise that i hated). the black copy i have though sounds great imo. Hard to say how it stacks up to an OG press though as i've never heard the OG press.
