It was actually listed at 24.98 at first. Soundstage was selling it for 39.99 at the time. Guessing the pressing info must have been changed. When I ordered it both sites had it listed as a double LP.

How does it sound? Saw it was coming out a while back from their email, but since there is no limited variant, I didn't feel the need to rush into it without a sale or decent price.

I was emailing back and forth with them as well. Was never able to place an order. They surely didn't sell out of the full 2000 copies. I really wanted a copy of this.

You get both boxes? I didn't receive Vol 1, and haven't been able to get a response from customer service.

Got Vol 2 off of Popmarket for 175. Came yesterday. Really nice set. Comparing Mojo , Highway Companion, and Hypnotic Eye to the original presses I already had it looks like they are being very faithful to the original releases. Nice to finally complete Petty's discography.

Looks like She's the One and Wildflowers are finally getting reissues....along with Echo, and the Last DJ. The set also includes the Hypnotic Eye, Mojo, and Highway Companion. Amazon, SoundstageDirect, and Bull Moose all have preorders up. I'd be interested if anyone could report back on which version of Mary Jane's Last Dance is on the UK version. The US version has a different set of lyrics that I have never heard before in the first chorus. EDIT: Just noticed on discogs, the UK version has an extra track, (that the original Dutch version has as well) Anything That's Rock N Roll.

Had to order a copy of each. Almost bought bootlegs of both of them for not much cheaper, not long ago. Still a hard price to swallow.

Soundstage is the only place from the states that I have found these listed, and they are 29.99 for the single LPs and 39.99 for Ummagumma. WTF?

That's pretty shitty if they pressed more than the stated 250 considering they are charging a premium for the rarer variants.

Sweet. I'll need to pick up a copy of Piper at the Gates and Saucerful of Secrets. I've been able to find legitimate/clean copies of every other album besides those. Have only been able to get a copy of them in A Nice Pair. These reissues are long overdo.

Haha, sorry. I don't know which part you are saying yes to. It's instrumental, or it has vocals? I'm familiar with his early stuff (Scraping Foetus Off the Wheel). If it is similar to that, I'm probably in.

It will fit in an Expedit. I've got the same Mudvayne and mine has surface noise throughout.

Is this purely instrumental/noise, or vocals too? Not familiar with Venture Bros.
