  1. Catching up on this thread is the absolute best way I could have spent my morning, no regrets.
  2. SLC Punk was absolutely one of my favorite movies throughout high school. I got to chat with Matthew Lillard about it when he was on Warped promoting his movie adaptation for Fat Kid Rules The World (I was bummed that they didn't do the book justice at all, but that's a story for another day). I hope he has involvement with the sequel, I'm interested to see where it goes. Mainly, I just want them to perform a séance and bring back Heroin Bob
  3. I'll definitely put it on to my next to read list and let you guys know how I manage, hahaha. Thanks for the reassurance that I shouldn't be terribly scarred for life after reading it! I really enjoyed that book...the movie on the other hand, sucked terribly.
  4. It hurts that I have to pick buying a plane ticket over this record. All these great pressings this month are straight up torture.
  5. I haven't read Haunted yet for this reason. I have so many friends that will not go near pools anymore because of this book, hahaha.
  6. @loganeatsdirt I use the same name for everything because I'm boring. (I followed as many people as I could, but Instagram is now blocking me from following anymore at the moment. Oops.)
  7. I have a letter and a few photographs from their Kickstarter, maybe we can make a circle of candles and perform a ritual. It seems like the only reasonable answer to this dilemma we're currently faced with.
  8. That might actually be the most devastating thing I've heard all week, I'm sorry for your loss :'(
  9. The guy was husband of Sarah Paulson/Cordelia Foxx, I believe. I'm sure they'll give her some sort of back story in the upcoming episodes, at least I hope. Ryan Murphy lives for plot holes.
  10. I've been searching high and low for Only Every Time by the Graduate for awhile, variant doesn't matter. It never seems to hit Ebay when I'm looking. If it's something you're interested in selling, hit me up and we can hopefully work something out?
  11. - Slow day at work, only $3 in tips + Mad candy haul at trick or treat tonight. - Probably my last ever trick or treat because I'm "too old" or something + MAAAAD CANDY HAUL
  12. I actually really enjoyed the episode last night. It kind of left you wanting another hour instead of waiting for next week, normally I can deal with the wait. Now I'm just kinda freaking out.
  13. Since you seem to jump to Cleveland for shows a lot, I'm assuming you live in Western PA? We've been getting some really great shows on the East side, it's been hard to keep up!
  14. This was extremely enjoyable, I'm definitely going to keep up with this series. It's fun to watch artists talk so passionately/excitedly about other artists that influence them in some way.
  15. An acquaintance of mine did a kickstarter to help fund a repair for his tour van and to start recording his new album. He's really talented, an overall awesome person, and had been working hard to fund it all on his own in the beginning but just couldn't make ends meet. I threw in $25 and he went above and beyond! He raised a bit over his goal and actually ended up giving a portion of the extra money to a charity which was really cool. I agree that constant updates are a HUGE part of it, it's nice to know what's going on with the money you backed. In the end, I got everything it came with, plus he sent out wristbands from the charity he donated too. It was rad. I couldn't pledge much when The Graduate had a kickstarter but I remember them having a great response and they turned around and showed their fans the same love/respect. I've only had one bad experience and it was actually with the band Sparks the Rescue. They sent everyone the CD they produced with the money but absolutely no one was ever sent the 'exclusive t-shirt' the band/fearless records promised. Numerous e-mails have been sent by a lot of people and a year later...nothing. Not a huge loss but still a bummer.
  16. As much as I'd like to see some of the older stuff live (due to never seeing them before)...I'd be totally okay if they just decided to play their self-titled front to back at my date and nothing else.
  17. The first recipes I posted with spinach, avocado, etc are made in a blender! Just strain any that you make with berries to get rid of the seeds. I've never tried to make just juice without a juicer and then straining it...but I would say it's worth a shot? Not too sure about physical activity, but reading through this board it seems that starting physical activity that your body isn't used to isn't a great idea. But if you're already active it seems to be fine? I'm not a professional, so I'd definitely do some research on that!
  18. This thread seems to have died now, so it's probably silly to bring it back. However, I work at a juice bar so I was extremely curious as to what you guys we're drinking/doing. First off, congrats on everyone who made it as far as they did...because even as someone who currently makes a living juicing...I'm not sure I'd be able to make it even 3 days with just juice. That being said, anyone who is looking for more juicing options, we're known in the area for a few great but simple ones. Our green juice blends are normally half a bag of spinach, 1 avocado, 1 banana, and a fruit of your choice (I reccomend 2 mangos or 2 handfuls of blueberries. Raspberries also rule.) Then throw it all in a blender and fill half the blender with apple cider (the kind that is JUST APPLES, nothing else. No added sugar etc.) blend! We strain all the juices from berries to get rid of the grainy texture from seeds. But that's up to you! If you have a juicer, some great options are orange grapefruit juice and watermelon limeade. We also made a grapefruit apple cider that was pretty incredible once! Hopefully some of these come in handy for anyone who is still into the juice thing
  19. I was just thinking about how I would order their albums, starting with the best, and you completely nailed it. I want the announcement to come soon but I also want it to hold off until I catch up on all the November releases! I'm catching them November 11th! I've never seen them live, so I'm pretty much as pumped as it gets.
  20. I'm only an hour and a half away from Philly, hopefully I can talk some friends into going. I haven't seen Circa in quite a few years!
  21. A friend of mine used to go to MICA and used to stop by every weekend, she ended up bringing me home tons of new Chuck Palahniuk books. I've always wanted to visit, I feel like it's probably a really neat experience in itself. I would be really interested in doing something like that whenever you end up making another trip! As for what I'm currently reading, I picked up a book on Palmistry for $3 a few weeks back. All part of my plan to run away and join the circus.
  22. Copeland- Beneath The Medicine Tree Dear in the Headlights- Drunk Like Bible Times Envy On The Coast- Lucy Gray, Low Country The Fratellis- Costello Music The Graduate- Only Every Time and I'll never be able to stress how much I NEED a repress of The Family Jewels by Marina and the Diamonds.
