It's a stereo pressing from 1965. Sounds amazing. I've been looking for a copy in good shape for a while, so I was glad to finally come across one!

If I remember right, I think the number was in the bottom right corner on the back of the jacket. -

The first 1,000 were numbered, but the rest aren't numbered. The last numbered ones the store I work at got were in the 900's, so I think the numbered ones are all gone at this point. -

Those Numero Group sets look so good all next to each other. -

Somethin Else is the next one that I have coming my way. I'm looking forward to getting it. Such a great album with an amazing line-up. -

Those are definitely the two that I would initially recommend. I just picked up Hank Mobley's "Soul Station" the other day, and that album is amazing as well. Art Blakey's drums sound so good on it. -

This album is great. I just wish it was a little longer. That 32 minutes was over before I even realized it.

When I first started getting into Jazz, I blindly purchased some WaxTiime, Jazz Wax, etc. records since they were pretty affordable. After buying this Music Matters reissue, it's crazy how night and day the quality difference is in sound, layout, etc. Although the MM and AP reissues cost more, it seems to be worth it to have a smaller collection of amazing sounding records as opposed to a larger collection of records that just sound okay or are hit or miss. -

I just got it through the record store I work at. Worth every penny. I think it's still available for purchase through Music Matters though, or an outlet like Sound Stage Direct. I've been thinking about picking up the recently reissued 33 RPM Music Matters version of this. Such a great record. -

Just picked up my first Music Matters reissue. This thing sounds amazing. I'll probably slowly start getting ahold of the other MM reissues that they've done so far. This is going to be an expensive journey... I also just ordered the Analogue Productions Prestige pressing of Sonny Rollins' "Saxophone Colossus". Pretty excited to get that in the mail. -

Records without digital download codes shouldn't exist in 2015. -
My Bloody Valentine - EP's 88-91 My Bloody Valentine - Kiss The Eclipse : EP's 86-87 The 86-87 EP collection boot doesn't sound the greatest, but the 88-91 EP collection is probably one of the best sounding bootlegs I have.

You've talked me into it. I'm going to see which ones we can order through work and probably snag at least one to try out for starters. I'm thinking Cool Struttin' by Sonny Clark since I haven't picked up the BN 75th anniversary reissue of it yet. -

Thinking about biting the bullet on some Music Matters reissues. I've gotten a handful of the Blue Note 75th anniversary reissues, and am honestly pretty satisfied with the sound those dish out, but I'm really curious just how great the MM reissues sound. This could be a good idea as it will open my ears to something amazing, or it could be bad and suddenly make me unsatisfied with the BN reissues I've already picked up, while also dropping a lot more $$$$$. -

I'm trying to get these for the store I work at, but have absolutely no clue which distributors other stores are ordering them through. Unless Vinyl Digital distributes these titles themselves. -
I am okay with this.

Through Being Cool / Is A Real Boy Tour
dickcritter replied to museummouth's topic in Everything Else Message Board
So weird. It honestly didn't seem like anyone in the band even wanted to be there or were enjoying themselves. The songs sounded fine, but their stage presence was just completely off. Chris also went into singing "Big Poppa" during the noisy jam interlude of "Get Fucked Up". Very strange. -
