Some live albums no one asked for and a reissue of hippie killer. They refuse to repress Heroin for some reason.

Yeah those live albums been kicking for a while now. I never understood that. Youre there for the experience...kind of understand reliving it but on vinyl. Meh. A silly collector’s item in my book.

I had slacked pretty hard on picking up a lot of HOF's discography, but that black friday sale they did got me to pick up 4 albums I was missing. When i ordered all they had were black copies of most of them, but they ended up sending limited colored copies anyway! Pretty amped about it. Now to just pick up a copy of Snakes for the Divine, and De Vermis Mysteriis.

that’s sick. Relapse sale? Pretty sweet deal you got there. Almost got me copies from them as they had a hefty discount but was just lacking finance at that moment. Sort of good because for some reason HoF records don’t see too much play my turntable.

Pontiak are fucking intense. Saw them at Roadburn one year. So sick. Even more awesome that theyre all brothers.

Also, speaking of... two (or more!) unnamed Bongripper reissues going live through Burning World tonight. And FB interactions give me reason to believe that they might be Heroin and Hippie Killer

*Edit: as I was typing this, they sent the preorders up. Hippie Killer only. 4 variants. They had 2 found copies of Great Barrier Reefer as well but they went fast.

    Categorically incorrect

Abso-fucking-lutely. Their post-TGM tour had to have been one if not the best live performances I´ve ever witnessed. There´s just no comparison to any other band. Even with earbuds they absolutely destroy. Just sheer amazement. I only wish I´d heard of them earlier because they had a live here back in 2010 after My Father Will Guide Me Up a Rope to the Sky.

After The Seer hit there was just so much novelty due to the sheer amount of hype around them returning. So being late to the party , To Be Kind used to be my favourite but now I would agree that most of their back catalogue is pretty amazing.

DEBUT ALBUM REPRESS AND BIRTHDAY SHOWS 2019

After years of you guys asking us we are delighted to say we have a new Limited Edition Repress of our debut album on its way.

The release will include a brand new live album recorded this year during 10 year anniversary 3 night residency in Belfast and it was mixed by the legendary Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios, the man who made some of the records that made us want to start this band in the first place, from Minor Threat to Jawbox to Fugazi. This four plate reissue will feature more original artwork by artist Julian Friers who did the cover painting in 2009. This will be on sale at the following shows where we'll be performing the record in its entirety.

I don’t think the prices are too high.  Maybe a little but nothing close to Newbury.  Now their $6 shipping on the other hand...

Yeah I guess I didn´t explicate myself enough. Since I have to go through the UK itt´s 30€ through their store with added 17€ to ship a 2LP, rounding out at 42£. Even without the album, that shipping price is a stab in the face by itself.

Would it be wrong for me to assume that you are fond of David Blaine? Or at least, you know. The fake impersonated kind.

Sort of looking forward to this but not buying. Am off vinyl and trying my hardest not to relapse.

Relatedly, if anyone´s interested, I have a red Pain Is Beauty and clear/smoke Hiss Spun that I am willing to have shipped anywhere.

Full album streaming on Bandcamp https://earth.bandcamp.com/album/full-upon-her-burning-lips  not really sure why they released cats on the briar first as imo it's probably the least impressive track on the album...

Album is standard Earth I guess but I love standard Earth.

Grabbed a green galaxy from https://evilgreed.net/collections/earth wanted that long sleeve too

Yes. Was thinking the exact same thing.

I would have to say that Descending Belladonna might actually take the cake for me over 'Cats@

Yeah, I'd imagine shipping is going to be a little nuts too. Plus pricing is in euros, so it actually ends up being more than $20/

That´s true...they´ve tended to have high shipping cost even inside Europe. I converted the euros to USD already so that´s one per album, correct. Also, keep in mind that a few of those albums are double LP´s so it actually comes down to 16USD for a record.

Considering that you wouldn´t fare anywhere close to that buying the albums separately, then it´s still a deal.

Ufomammut are great but I listen to them too rarely for me to pull that box set. Live they absolutely obliterate so I will never miss a gig of theirs that´s close by. Luckily they´ll have a gig here October which denotes "third time´s the charm" for me.

Also, for a hardcore fan, I imagine this would seem to seal the deal. All their tunes are near impossible to decipher. Kind of retains the mistery though...

Apart from the music albums themselves, the box set also contains a 64-page book with original covers, photos and lyrics to all songs as well as a poster, backpatch and sticker.

Oh hey. A new Slomatics track off that new album.
