Out Now: CLUTCH - Psychic Warfare
Chuck Shivers replied to highfives's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
That looks like the type of thing that people will buy and then Amazon will string you along until you cancel your order. -
Has there been a variant press count listed?
-
I guess that's that.

Thanks again.

I wonder how long this has been on their website? I can't wrap my head around how a Baroness variant limited to 100 could still be available. Or why the label is using the original 2012 page?
-
Relapse lists variants as separate items – you can't change your selection from the page of a specific one. Gotcha. Thanks man.

I'm a little leary of the order. First I was surprised to still see the Olive Green/Mustard Yellow limited to 100 mail order still advertised as available, then my emailed invoice details the original first press mail order 'Green/Yellow merge'. I didn't even get and option to choose my order selection.

Does anyone know if the Eupean copies were pressed in Europe? I ordered from both the U.S. and from Europe. If the U.S. Copies were pressed at United Record Press, I'll get ride of it. -
There's an App called The Vinyl District that will give you locations of all the record stores in the world.

The gold is better than I anticipated. For some reason I was thinking the 'gold' was going to be translucent yellow, was surprised to see actual opeque gold. The gatefold is solid and the inside print job is printed on textured paper like the first copies of King Crimson's 'In The Court Of The Crimson King' jackets were. Plus it was shipped in those 'frustration free' boxes. I'm happy with it. -

http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/161901246873 $50,000, why the hell not. -
I would recommend just using a regular white paper sleeve for the lathe and then put that in the clear plastic jacket the lathe comes in. I don't recommend leaving the lathe in the think plastic jacket alone. I've seen those think plastic jackets leave a weird film on records. The white paper sleeve will protect you from that.

New Ty project 7" tomorrow. 12 noon PST. IN THE RED RECORDS. GØGGS is the brain child of Chris Shaw (Ex-Cult) and Ty Segall. The band had been in the planning stages for a long time but finally came together in 2015 when they convened in Ty's Los Angeles studio to record an album, which will be released next year. Other participants in the project include Cory Hanson (Wand), Charles Moothart (Fuzz) and Mikal Cronin. This single features an original from the album on the A side and an Iggy Pop cover on the B side that's exclusive to this 7”. The first 200 on color vinyl.
