  1. I can't offer any technical help whatsoever but I can offer some moral support in saying, after googling it, that's a pretty nice looking table.
  2. Randy Travis - Storms of Life Randy Travis - Old 8x10 The All American Rejects - Self Titled Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree Fall Out Boy - Folie a Deux A Day to Remember - What Separates Me From You Four Year Strong - Enemy of the World The Movielife - Forty Hour Train Back to Penn Bayside - Cult Fantasia Soundtrack My wife is going to slaughter me
  3. Haha you're right. As long as it's me taking Randy for a spin and not the other way around I think I'll be good.
  4. To me this just sounds like "country". The shit played on country radio these days is not country music. This is country music and it's fantastic. Now pardon me while I spin some of my Randy Travis.
  5. My local store had a couple copies of Buddha when I went in last night but he's selling them for the exact same price as Hot Topic. Not sure how that works but the owner's a super cool guy... that's all I know.
  6. Picked up these at the local record store tonight Billy Joel - Kohuept Incubus - Monuments and Melodies I love the Incubus one but damn... 4 LPs! It's workout listening to this one.. getting up and off the couch so much to flip and swap haha. What's interesting about the Joel album is that over the barcode is, stamped in gold lettering, "FOR PROMOTION ONLY. Ownership is reserved by CBS. Sale is Unlawful." I have no idea what the significance, if any, of that is.
  7. I don't have any experience with purchasing equipment from thrift stores. It's not for lack of trying.. the local ones just never have anything. Mostly I just wanted to say that I'm glad you asked the question and, after the few couple of knucklehead responses from the "pros", I'm glad you started to get the answers you were looking for. I think the community benefits as a whole when questions are asked and respect is given to the questioners.. especially when no disrespect was given by the questioner in the first place. The internet can be a bummer sometimes. But this thread has helped me as well because this has been a question I had been wondering as well, so thank you
  8. This was really kind of you to do, Sec.
  9. Easy. First and second born child. Third, if necessary.
  10. Haha ya my mother has reached Dorothy Mantooth levels of sainthood. Watch them do a repress in a couple months lol.
  11. That one and Deja were a gift from my mom. She said she got them both for around 5 bills off of discogs. Completely insane and outrageous to me but I can't tell her how to spend her money, I guess. Of course I did the fake angry "I can't believe you spent that much...!" while really being super happy that she did lol.
  12. My recent acquisitions Blink 182 - S/T (Splatter) Blink 182 - Buddha (HT Split) No Use for a Name - Hard Rock Bottom Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 Brand New - Deja Entendu A Day to Remember - Homesick Garth Brooks - Ropin' the Wind Garth Brooks - No Fences Bayside - Killing Time The Super Bowl Shuffle (oh yeah!)
  13. I was broke when we met. Broke when we got engaged. Still pretty damn broke. I got her a nice ring off of Ebay for a good price. It has a few occlusions that aren't visible unless you stare at it really closely but she loves it. Her and I are exactly like how you describe you and your future fiance. She will be ecstatic with anything that you get her.. my advice will be just don't put yourself into the poor house with it. The amount that you spend has no bearing on the past, present, or future of your relationship so just make sure you're comfortable with what you spend. Congrats!!!
  14. For someone like me who gets anxiety when it comes to making offers because I'm relaitvely new and not sure what the values of some things are and is worried about offending someone... it's greatly appreciated. Lots of good stuff here. Wish I could pop on some of it but end of the month bills.
  15. I looooove that you have everything priced. Wish everyone would do that.
  16. I don't like how they pay their regional CEOs very high six figure salaries(or even higher in some instances) while they pay sub-minimum wage to many workers. Especially for being a charitable organization. But that's the way it is, I guess. They all can't be as generous as CostCo's CEO when it comes to wages he pays out and the salary he takes, I suppose. Oh well. They just don't get any of my business.
