My local Hot Topic's once proud selection of vinyl has now dwindled to one 1/2 full milk crate stuck back in the corner of the store. From a glorious four-tiered rack to something shameful. I just don't get it :(

Mine has been doing the exact same thing. The respectable 4-shelved rack has now become 2 shelves and nothing new has come in for a couple of months. It's depressing.

I want your Marantz. Would prefer a 6300 but 61 will do. That way it would match my Marantz 2275 amp. That said, I do love my Dual 1229 tt.

Eh. I'm of no help here. I'm one of those that is endeared to vinyl by those crackles in the quieter parts of records. If I wanted a 100% clean input I would listen to a CD or MP3. Carry on.

Started with a cheap, crappy MCS integrated amp from the 80s and a couple of awful pawn shop Sony tower speakers a year or so ago. Records stored on a converted wal-mart bookshelf. Now I'm finally here IKEA Kallax Marantz 2275 Amp Dual 1229 Turntable Klipsch Cornwalls Red and yellow roses as a cheesy and shameless attempt to lessen the blow for the wife who knew I was buying speakers but was unaware of the size lol.

Just reporting back that I did receive my replacement A/B. Sounds great.

Received my order. Got the Mmhmm and Let it snow, baby. Good packaging. Mmhmm looks nice. Kind of a serious problem with Let it Snow Baby, though. A/B was cut pretty badly. Waaaaay too much material was left on one side of the record so it's pretty badly misshapen. It causes a ton of distortion when playing it. C/D is fine, though. Mmhmm looks fine. I did e-mail them about this today and I received a surprisingly prompt response (about 10 minutes) from Mike at Gotee that they are out of the office this week for Thanksgiving but will send me out another A/B when they get back. Fair enough. I will be perfectly satisfied as long as the new A/B arrives in a relatively quick fashion and in good shape. I pre-ordered on 8/6/14 so I've been waiting a long time for this and I'm just kind of bummed that I can't even play half of the record. I'll keep everyone updated on how this plays out.

Got my 10 records today. Two mailers inside a larger box. Everything was in great shape. Came 2-day priority even though I just paid the basic rate. These people are the fucking bomb.
