The jacket was probably damaged in transit to you once it left HT. That happens all the time, it's not something that only happens when HT ships people records.

those releases are undoubtedly their best. the problem is that max isn't the same mental state as he was when he wrote all that music. i think it's wonderful that he's come such a long way in finding happiness, making peace with himself and sorting out his issues. that being said, those issues were part of what gave birth to all that incredible music back in the day.
i'd rather see him happy and healthy and just listen to the old stuff.

i love this band so much, but i think calling anarchy a "massively successful" album is a BIT of an embellishment

If you look close enough it's barely pixelated.  I love the glossy embellishments though!  Sounds and looks great as a record too.  Now bring on the TOYPAJ repressing (with a splatter more like this) and Enema!

A typical vinyl sleeve will be 3600x3600 pixels at a standard printing DPI (dots per inch). I challenge you to find an image of the cover art on google which is above 1100 pixels or so.
 
I'm not saying that all album art is created at CD size, I'm just pointing out that vinyl size probably wasn't a consideration at design stage in this case.
 
As I say, it still looks rad at 3600px. It could have looked a lot worse.

I don't understand how doing this makes a difference, I saw some of you guys doing this for the S/T release as well, I mean obviously they're looking to make some easy cash, so why would the offers do anything, wouldn't they just ignore it?

i usually get an email with shipping information. otherwise you can log into your HT account and look at your orders. the tracking is usually there.

I got UPS "SurePost".  Do these guys just pick a shipping method out of a hat for each order?

In anyone's experience, is shipping from the in-store kiosks any quicker than ordering from the website?  I know I whined about it earlier in the thread, but I just can't stand watching the "well, maybe it'll eventually get to you after going halfway across the country in the other direction" SmartPost tracking.  Thinking of going that route, as I'm doubting this will sell out by tomorrow afternoon when I can swing by Hot Topic.

Hot Topic doesn't only carry sweet blink 182 vinylz, they also sell a plethora of other junk. They will start adding new items to the store around midnight and get to this when they get to it.
Some nights you stay up a little late and are in bed by 1 or 2am, others people have waited from midnight all the way until 1 or 2 in the afternoon for. It's a crapshoot.
