threads like these are dumb because anyone who has sold more than a small handful of records has has at least one bad transaction.
ive seen names of people who are on lots of peoples good traders list, on at least one or two bad trader lists.
what ends up happening is someone who has had hundreds of good transactions, ends up having one bad one where a record got lost or whatever, and some kid comes on here and smears his name, and an otherwise good seller gets blacklisted.
take the first post here for example. that dude runs a record label, and has somewhat of a distro, and all that stuff. dude sells thousands of records. no doubt a lot of them are great transactions or the dude wouldnt still be in business. im not saying he isnt a ripoff and doesnt deserve to be on this list. just saying these threads irk me, cause you can have virtually unlimited positive sales/trades, and still end up on this list for something dumb, and suddenly tons of kids who have nothing to do with it hop on to say "yeah fuck that dude. im never dealing with that guy. he sucks" and starts spreading that throughout the net.

This will be available next year.

Soooo for anybody really wanting consideration of this vinyl to be released by tooth and nail, here's an online petition that has 79 signatures on it. Even though I signed it and the signature count on it hasn't gone up *shrug* it seems legit. So sign away!

Thanks! I have two opened, and I don't really have a use for an extra one, and call me crazy, but I think unopened stuff is cool. Normally I wouldn't care, but it's one of my favorite records of all time, and I think it'd be neat to have one that hasn't been opened.

This is about the best way I've ever seen someone respond to being chastised... VC can be a pack of angry wolves sometimes, whether its because we lost a bid on ebay or some crazy ex broke into our apartment and specifically burned our vinyl collection in the tub out of spite (yes please don't ask) but we all mean well, we know what its like to get jipped, flipped, and ripped. GOOD ON YOU for being such a humble kind person, I wish there were more understanding people in the world. Honestly you don't have to do ANYTHING to "make up" for your mistake, you already owned up to it!... But I can't help it the offer is too enticing! option 3 or 4 pleeeeaaaase!

I am extremely sorry for your loss mate, its sad every time I hear someone takes their own life. Honestly Ive told friends a few time "at least fucking enjoy life, take out a huge loan and travel the world first! just get aways from this life you know if you hate it so much." we also have to constantly remind our family and friends that we do love them and care for them. theres no reason someone should take their own life. and again, I'm really sorry for your loss.

agreed! hahaha "buy the people who work the hotline a pizza" I feel so much better about the money I'll be giving to them. I can only imagine an office full of people on the phone helping people out while one is ordering pizza...

No problem my friend. There were several organizations with a quick Google search, but this was the first one I saw. I think it is something super easy we could do. Give a dollar or five. Buy the people who work the hotline a pizza, pay for a pamphlet, commercial, everything little bit will help.

In an effort to spread some Christmas cheer, I would like to give away a copy of The Lone Bellow's self-titled debut album. It's not a highly sought after record by any means but they are my favorite new band so I wanted to give someone the gift of their music, as well as maybe let a few more people know about them. I bought a second copy of their album because it came with a red 7" with 2 songs that the LP didn't have initially. The one being given away will not include the 7". There is also slight wear on the top of the jacket from shipping.

Thank you to everyone who entered so far, I appreciate the kind words and sharing of related stories. This isn't just in memoriam of Michael, but to those who have lost a loved one (in some cases more) and how music can help you through the hard times as it has for myself. The mixture of sadness, anger, and confusion is a terrible thing.
