    Hi friends.
It's foggy today in SF. I love it.
    I have three days off.
    I'm not traveling anywhere.
I don't even know what to do with myself?!

I personally will take responsibility for derailing this conversation and talking about the Desensitizer thread. I remember curiously looking one day only to glance at a few pages leaving feeling completely dehumanized and sad for other ladies.

But I digressed. This is the man advice thread.

Jacob, I am proud of you for actually trying to understand and looking at what you have said in the past in a different light. Seriously, that means everything to us ladies. Ultimately, we often joke about how we give up on this thread in particular because as women, we think we would have really great advice to offer to put you in a place of success. We are ladies afterall, and I think we could really offer some wisdom on fellow females or even tell you when a girl is crazy and to take a step back (both sexes have the crazies.)

But often times, our advice gets ignored, or trumped with statements that really are quite degrading to women. So we get discouraged about even offering advice, even though we really truly think that it could be beneficial!

There is nothing wrong with having sex, or even talking about it. I was simply saying, previously, that there were some pretty intense posts in that thread that certainly changed my views of a lot of people that post on this thread. That isn't to mean that I don't think there is opportunity for change.

Men, there are some amazing women that contribute to these boards. Strong, lovely, beautiful women who happen to collect vinyl. And yes, we have every right to have our say about how certain things piss us off. And ultimately, you should really consider what pisses us off, because often it is the same sort of thing that will piss off the ladies in your life. Just think about it.

Yeah... It's really funny to make fun of us. Thanks. I'll remember that the next time I'm being sexually harassed at work and I'll try and remember that they are only making a joke and aren't being serious. None of this stuff should be taken seriously
Very cool. It takes a lot to really piss me the fuck off but I guess that was your motive.

I just reread that post and it definitely could have been worded better.  For the first time ever kind of recently, I asked a girl to finish me off after I had pleased her and she was like of course.  I've never done that.

The use of "females" to refer to women really bothers me. That's really all I have to add because the women in this thread have said pretty much anything else I would have.
Also, there's nothing inherently misgonyst or wrong with discussing your sex life, but I've definitely seen some posts that were both of those things.

Out of respect to people I date, I honestly draw the line at talking about them at all. But that is just me. I suppose it is relative, but from reading what you and other people have posted, I just know that isn't something I would do or say about a guy I was dating whether it was a one night stand or a legitimate relationship.

    BUT HEY THAT'S JUST ME

To me it doesn't matter if their name is connected to the post. For people to post about people they have had intimate encounters in the way that some of the guys do on this thread is embarrassing and degrading. If I were the person and I saw what one of these guys wrote it WOULD be in fact DEGRADING.

But the truth of the matter is, I am pretty positive that you all have made most of these stories up. So, though sick and twisted, I suppose at that point it is just sad. Though, it doesn't make it any better that they are posting degrading stories about women, real or fictional, for a boost of self confidence from an online community.

This is a giant oxymoron. The literal point of the boob/ass thread is to expoit people (women) and strip them down to sexual objects. "Not personally" doesn't mean shit. Sexual exploitation has nothing to do with how personal it is. It's objectifying someone, plain and simple.

Yes. Yes, that's exactly it. That's the thing. The fact that you can state it but not understand it is terrifying.
