yeah. my girlfriend likes this band mew, and it seems like you can only buy their stuff from the UK. It really sucks when the cost for a 7" shipped over here is just as much as buying a full LP in the states.

SXSW is pretty amazing when you think about it.. so fucking much going on.. you never know who's gonna be doing what or appearing when.. My highlight was HOT WATER MUSIC last year, but meeting Elvis Costello a few years ago was priceless. Or shane mcgowan hanging out at the local irish pub on red river... shit's insane... Im kinda curious where you saw them now..I know they have played at least 7 tmes in the last 2 years here.. usually about 2 or 3 times a year during sxsw and one other time on a regular tour with Torche. it might have been the VICE party you saw. I may be wrong though.. you're right about sxsw. I remember for the human giant showcase two years ago, all the guys from mastodon where at the bar watching the show. I really dont know where I saw them. It was just something I stumbled upon. All I remember was that it wasnt on the main 6th street, but at a bar behind it in the alleyway.

i saw mutemath at warped tour 3 years ago and they were soooo good, then i bought the cd and listened to half of it and gave it away. great live show but disappointing music i agree. Live they were really good, especially their drummer. After I saw them, i downloaded a few of their songs. Didnt like it.
