Cool, didn't know those were that rare.

colored vinyl is the (limited) 'loser' edition.

Probably not going to find the 7"s from them. They only had two of the three last november('11) when I saw them. The tape is a demo of Wet Blanket and the cover of Pig which is what the white RSD 7" features.

got mine yesterday as well. Here's all my metz stuff, I think this is complete.
-
just got a shipping confirm, stoked.

Official "Help Me Choose a Turntable" v.2.0 Thread
tankerdesk replied to jhulud's topic in Turntables & Other Audio Equipment
I think the RP1 ($445) is actually nicer than the Debut III ($299), but compared to the new Debut Carbon ($399) its probably the pretty damn close to the same quality. Those 2 (3) tables are all great starter tables. You'll hear an immediate difference and a nice thing about them is you can have them set up and playing in about 5 minutes. If you're not afraid to fuss with used you'll be able to get a much better table for that $400-500 but depending on what and where you get it from you have no guarantee about quality or that it won't break a week later leaving out of your $$$. Any local spots that sell equipment in your area? Hi-Fi stores? The Rega/Project tables are a pretty cheap safe bet which is why there are a lot of people that like them on this board. -

need to listen to this a couple more times. I want to like it, but I think its just too chill for my tastes. Granted I wasn't crazy about anything pre-veckta either, so... -

Pro-Ject Debut III vs Carbon?
tankerdesk replied to AdventureIsOutThere's topic in Turntables & Other Audio Equipment
They just released it, I doubt you'll find it cheaper anywhere until maybe xmas sales. Plus some stores still have the regular debut they are trying to offload. -

Recently picked up the Bloody Gears 7", love it, one of my favs of the summer so far. -
Give us a $ range so we give you recommendations within your budget. I have the Cambridge 640p, it was about $180 at amazon. I really like it. I've heard good things about the Pro-ject mentioned above (I think they run about $400-450). I've also heard good things about the Jolida JD9 (run about $500).
