  1. I can't believe all the hate for people leaving some records sealed on a collectors forum.
  2. The regular press is $25 on Discogs. I just don't see the extra $245 in that set, unless that letter is really signed by Lincoln
  3. Saw him last year with Gary Clark Jr, and Shorty really stole the show. I can't wait for this one.
  4. I have a Trombone Shorty show coming up also.
  5. I bought the 10" on RSD, but I've seen them on sale lately for $9.99 As mentioned above, I prefer the Sue on the 10"
  6. My opened copy is in a MOFI sleeve, as I do with every LP I purchase after cleaning. I placed the booklet in the front (mostly black), and slid the MofI inside the clear sleeve and put it in the back where the booklet was.
  7. I can't stop listening to this album. Thanks for the parting gift, David.
  8. Everyone is going to try to sell all their turntables and vinyl, but everyone will be too poor to buy it.
  9. TIME has nothing to do with damage to records from shrinkwrap. It's temp and humidity fluctuations. Warm temps shrink the shrinkwrap causing the jacket to bow, thus causing a warped record (which is easily repaired). Given the right temps/storage etc, a shrinkwrapped jacket won't bow or warp.
  10. Value. Value is the reason for keeping records sealed. I don't understand why a collector's site has an issue with other collectors keeping some stuff sealed. I buy doubles of a lot of albums, just to keep 1 sealed. What a fool I am.
  11. ^^^ UK press will normally sound better. I go out of my way to order from UK for some LPs
  12. I frame signed jackets with the record. What a fool I am. And keeping records sealed? Oh, the horror.
  13. Just take it to the framing shop. Trust me, they know what will look best. Just get a quote for the mat and buy the frame yourself
  14. LOL at the warping. There's a lot more than goes into than just time. There's temps, humidity etc. I just recently sold a Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet on Discogs. I've owned since 1986 when it was released. The buyer asked me to open it before shipping. No warps, go figure. In the event I DO buy a warped record, I use my Vinyl Flat. I have lots of sealed records that I've bought new over the years. I frequently buy 2 copies of an LP if I feel the need.
  15. I have an older Canon Rebel t3i. I bought a couple lenses etc, but I'll be damned if I can figure out all the settings to take a nice pic. I usually just leave it on "auto"
  16. That Baizley print is begging for a proper double mat and frame.
  17. Yup, SVLP 195 Never noticed it I guess, but I'm used to the track list on the press I have. I haven't listen to the CD itself in a loooong time. Any idea why they messed with the tracks to begin with? Was it just to make them fit on the sides of the LPs?
  18. Which press had the CD track listing? I have the orig Blue and White I never noticed there were different track lists.
  19. Who is going to pay that kind of money to see 60% of Guns N Roses? Have you guys even seen Axl lately? He'll be lucky to get through the first leg of the show without contracting Diabetes.
