My green copy has a piece of paper or something stuck in it. I've tried brushing it off but it hasn't moved at all.

Well for me, it's because: It's an import, technically My nearest record store is 30 minutes away Ordering online ensures that I receive a copy; my record store may not have it in stock I know the price if I order it online The preorder went up well before I would even consider looking for it online. Now don't get me wrong-I love going to a record store to make impulse buys and support 'em, but for "special" releases like this I want to make sure I get my grubby paws on a copy.

That was pretty much my mentality. It doesn't ship until October, so I figured I'd squat on it and see if it drops to a price I can agree with or if a fancy dumb variant becomes available.

I wish Ghostly did more gatefold sleeves, honestly.

I was underwhelmed by the quality of Tycho's Awake, honestly. The paper sleeve seemed really thin and it got split pretty rough in shipping. I'm hoping for better luck with this release.

I mean, they use a distortion effect on the guitar already, so more distortion = more good, obvs.

Welp, I jumped on the Sky Valley album for funsies. I'll listen to 'em online and if there's one that tickles my fancy more I can always just switch my preorder. Amazon's cool like that.
