  1. The only place I've seen selling SRC stuff in Europe is HHV in Berlin. Not cheap with probably not cheap shipping, but it's worth keeping an eye open: http://www.hhv.de/shop/en/srcvinyl-vinyl-cd-tape/p:lnCYL3 SRC stuff sometimes shows up on Amazon.com as well.
  2. The records in the pictured package all have VG+ sleeves which could easily be from them simply being old and not shrinkwrapped or stored in bags. That doesn't bother me too much as that's what I expected for the price. The point of the issue is that someone who runs a record label should be packing a lot better than that. I am pleased that yours were well packed, but mine were not and he asked publicly how things were. I simply answered honestly.
  3. He's put the record I want back up. It's only £7.99 plus shipping.... I want it. I may buy and feed back what I get here.
  4. LInk doesn't work. I think this one is the same story: https://www.facebook.com/treescouldtalk/posts/10153466001221316
  5. They were both really popular with board members but with people dropping out and not replying to PMs, I have two copies of Horizons (at different prices) and one of Lost Together remaining. First copy of Horizons is £20, the second £24. Architects is £24. I'm in the UK. Shipping at cost.
  6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SIGUR-ROS-TAKK-NEW-AND-STILL-SEALED-ORIGINAL-2005-VINYL-LP-WITH-ETCHED-10-/182099364110?hash=item2a65f7c90e:g:GegAAOSw3mpXFp-p Not only is this massively overpriced, but this is what he writes about his history and how he ships: Red flags went up when I read 'bubble lined mailers' so I emailed him. Here's what he said: I was asking about a £7.99 record and I wouldn't buy it shipped like that. What a guy who worked in and maybe even owned a record store is doing shipping stuff like that, I don't know.
  7. In what way do they look wet. They're covered in transparent tape. Again, obvious.
  8. The mailer doesn't look wet. The address is blurred out. I though that was obvious.
  9. That's insanely cheap. Sites regularly charge more than that for domestic postage (see Townsend above - £4.50 for one item in the UK). On the subject of Townsend, I was surprised to hear they had been allowed back into RSD having been banned for a year after 'irregularities in the management of an Ebay account linked to the store'. https://www.facebook.com/lovemusicscotland/posts/607023496040346 http://www.factmag.com/2014/04/23/record-store-day-organisers-monitoring-ebay-hour-by-hour-as-paul-weller-hunts-down-touts/
  10. You see, the thing about a record mailer is they are a little bit bigger than the record itself so you can put some sort of protection around it and close it up snugly. We all know that. As you can see, three of the four sides are bowed outwards. Have I got really big records? No. I've got really shit packing. This last one is my favourite. You can see my table through it. I do have eight records rather than the advertised six and they cost me less than £2.50 each. Was it worth the hassle? No.
  11. I wasn't going to say anything but seeing as you asked: I got three VG+ sleeves in the worst pack job I have ever seen that used an actual mailer (and I don't mean the cardboard envelopes, I mean a proper mailer). I have pictures.
  12. You're absolutely right. It does say GMT. Everyone have an extra hour in bed / wait up an extra hour.
  13. This post was wrong and the information in it potentialy misleading so it has been removed. It is quoted in the post below if you really care.
  14. I am sure no-one here will care about this but this is one of my favourite bands. First new album in 7 years. Adam from Swervedriver used to be in the band (it's a collective around one guy so people come in and move on all the time). http://sophia.bandcamp.com/album/as-we-make-our-way-unknown-harbours There's a limited orange vinyl pressing that has sold out in most places but I know where there are a few left as of posting.
  15. Rather than start a new and very short thread: Big Scary Monsters are putting up a very limited number of their Tiny Dots pressing at 10am UK time (the middle of the night in the USA; they specifically mentioned in their email how this was not available for RSD in the US and then put it up at the most inconvenient time possible). For those familiar with the RSD threads, I am usually around to help if I can. I can't help with this one - I'm busy the whole day Saturday. http://bsmrocks.awesomedistro.com/products/571356-la-dispute-tiny-dots-lp

  17. I have tracked down proper lists for my two Nirvana possibilities and neither has it. There's only one major UK place I can't find a list for. Very, very unlikely any copies will appear when UK items go up.
  18. OP changed as FB page says they think the whole press is marble blue.
  19. A 7" called Hate The Pilot was put out for Black Friday 2015. The band features Jason White from Green Day and Adam Pfahler from Jawbreaker. 21. Go here: http://www.emp-online.com/?forceThisShop=1 Stick a bunch of random stuff in your cart (to get it over any minimum purchase amount). Go to cart. Look for 'Change Country' No USA. No Canada. They ship pretty much everywhere else.
  22. The RSD press was its 12th variant, so it might be a while until the next one.
