  1. Facebok page has gone; Twitter not updated since May. It doesn't look good. If anyone here might (and it's might) know something, it's Salaho from Different Kitchen Records.
  2. From Cameron Crowe's page: http://www.theuncool.com/2017/01/26/singles-deluxe-soundtrack/ Curious; is there anyone else who likes the soundtrack who's never seen the film? I was the perfect age for grunge but have never had the urge to see this.
  3. There's a placeholder listing on Amazon UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Eternal-Rituals-Accretion-Light-VINYL/dp/B01N0XT0FN/ref=mb_oe_
  4. 'tis not. The orange is indies only. Looks like the only exclusive thing about the TM stores copies is that they are signed. https://driftrecords.com/products/the-jesus-and-mary-chain-damage-and-joy?variant=33886080196 http://www.resident-music.com/productdetails&product_id=45859 https://www.piccadillyrecords.com/counter/product.php?pid=113135 https://www.normanrecords.com/records/163060-the-jesus-mary-chain-damage-and-joy http://www.lostinvinyl.org/preorder-now/the-jesus-and-mary-chain-damage-and-joy-limited-orange-vinyl-2lp-pre-order-release-date-24th-march
  5. How much was shipping? When I got a shipping estimate, it was more than 35% of the price of the record and sent the overall cost to over £20.
  6. Apologies if this has already been posted here. I don't frequent this thread, but I couldn't find it with the site search or google. Masters Of Reality - Down In The Hole on green vinyl: https://www.bongloadrecords.com/product-detail-bl-62 Limited to 1016. Not cheap. I'm not really one for stoner rock, but if you don't like Third Man On The Moon, you don't like ANY sort of rock.
  7. 8 days to go; AU$5000 needed to reach their target.
  8. There was a thread somewhere recently where someone said "don't spend $499 on a record". Three people are going to disagree with them: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sleep-Dopesmoker-Test-Pressing-charity-auction-/172473419707?hash=item28283787bb:g:NIsAAOSwZQRYbE2r http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sleep-Dopesmoker-Test-Pressing-charity-auction-/182410986331?hash=item2a788ac35b:g:NIsAAOSwZQRYbE2r http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sleep-Dopesmoker-Test-Pressing-charity-auction-/182410984018?hash=item2a788aba52:g:NIsAAOSwZQRYbE2r
  9. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Malibu-VINYL-Anderson-paak/dp/B01CH74RF2/ref=mb_oe_l Most likely the cheapest way to get the European pressing.
  10. @curtis: I am waiting to see if this makes it to CCMusic with a 25% off code. Whatever method they use to bypass it, I never have to pay import duty on their stuff. Cheapest way I've found to buy box sets in the UK. Also waiting to find out if they are all coloured or if some are black.
  11. Having found information from ETR and Travis, it seems that the second press information on the HT variant is incorrect. http://enjoytheride.storenvy.com/products/15960729-good-charlotte-the-young-and-the-hopeless-2nd-pressing As for gatefold, there are two options. Either the HT variant is a gatefold and it doesn't say so on Discogs (possibly because the first press were all gatefolds and so someone didn't see it as being useful information or equally possibly someone just didn't think to include it. The lack of images points to the second IMO), or you have a special gatefold black variant that is yet to make it to Discogs, here (and a significant percentage of people here are into just that kind of music) or anywhere else. I know what I think is most likely.
  12. ...and here it is on Amazon UK for £122.99! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N6E1Z84/ref=mb_oe_l Even using Amazon's exchange rate and paying the import fees deposit, it's 34% more to buy it in from UK.
  13. List price is $99.98 http://loudwire.com/sepultura-the-roadrunner-albums-1985-1996-box-set-january/
  14. Looks like Orchid is getting a new press on pink in a few weeks. Here are the first three places I found it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Orchid-VINYL-Opeth/dp/B01M1D57MO/ref=mb_oe_l https://www.roughtrade.com/music/orchid http://merchnow.com/catalogs/spinefarm-records
  15. New sleepmakeswaves album for pre-order on the crowdfunding site Pozible. Thread started on the main board. https://pozible.com/project/205169
  16. https://pozible.com/project/205169 All prices in AU$ (probably don't include shipping): $45 - vinyl. $50 - signed vinyl & poster; name in the liner notes. $60 - vinyl & CD. $70 - vinyl, CD & bonus digital stuff. $90 - the line above plus a t-shirt. There are a couple of other bundles. The test pressings are sold out as there was only one (the same number Failure have sold of their 50 so far).
  17. There are properly price Alice In Chains on ebay and at Discogs. Iron Maiden... not so reasonably priced.
  18. If you look through all their FB posts about it (I forget why I did this), there are even rarer variants. Not sure how to get hold of them though.
  19. There are a couple of Pre-orders up for the UK version of this (Rise in Bristol and Rough Trade). Cheapest is £35 ($43.50)!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Thread is even deader, but this is a must for Tool fans. AUS$15 is the recommended amount but it is Name Your Price: http://lucidplanetband.net/
  21. The download prices are even more jawdroppingly excessive than the vinyl (I just noticed this). $5 for FLAC if you are already buying the vinyl, $20 for FLAC on its own and $30 for the 24bit/96k WAV high resolution album master. At least with the vinyl you have something to hold in your hand.
