  1. Well it's here. Single track from a film I'd never heard of (Rewind Me!) that they're putting the full soundtrack out for later in the year. From the dispatch email:
  2. Not all. Banquet are putting it on sale at 1800 tonight. Instore only; one per customer.
  3. It seems likely. Half of them are signed and some of the unsigned half are in the UK.
  4. If there are any other fans out there, $36 and the first 250 are signed. Pressing of 500. http://www.alr-music.com/main.php?content=shop&no=alr-0040 http://www.alr-music.com/tanyadonelly/ UK (doubt they will be signed): https://cargorecordsdirect.co.uk/products/tanya-donelly-swan-song-series
  5. Couldn't find a thread about this. Not confident in the new search function, so sorry if it's there and I missed it. Might be in the Sun Kil Moon thread... This is coming out on American Laundromat on October 14th on translucent blue vinyl. Tracklisting (not in order): WAXAHATCHEE - ANGELES JULIEN BAKER - BALLAD OF BIG NOTHING TANYA DONELLY - BETWEEN THE BARS YUCK - BLED WHITE JESU/SUN KIL MOON - CONDOR AVE LOU BARLOW - DIVISION DAY WILD SUN - EASY WAY OUT TOMO NAKAYAMA - MISS MISERY JULIANA HATFIELD - NEEDLE IN THE HAY CAROLINE SAYS - NO NAME #3 ADAM FRANKLIN - OH WELL, OKAY AMANDA PALMER - PICTURES OF ME WILLIAM FITZSIMMONS - SAY YES ESCONDIDO - WALTZ #1 J MASCIS - WALTZ #2 http://www.alr-music.com/sayyes/ There's a stream of Juliana Hatfield's version of Needle In The Hay. I'm rather enjoying it.
  6. I think I've alrady posted this once a few pages back, but here it is again: http://www.roughtrade.com/albums/101439
  7. Bleep now showing sold out. Here and here still: http://www.resident-music.com/productdetails&product_id=42162 http://www.diversevinyl.com/item.php?id=bf2fc77b0f484b1f5d1c92fa98821aca http://www.crashrecords.co.uk/product/radiohead-a-moon-shaped-pool-cd-album-or-opaque-white-vinyl-lp-pre-order-indies-only-exclusive/ and remember Juno don't do pre-orders, Rise in Bristol haven't put it up (AFAIK) and I'm sure stores are holding some back to go on sale instore the day it comes out.
  8. I've bought from them but I know nothing about how their packing stands up to international shipping. drds89 bought from them recently (RSD).
  9. There's also an Indies Only white version coming: https://driftrecords.com/products/radiohead-a-moon-shaped-pool?variant=186841816366 http://www.resident-music.com/productdetails&path=2471&product_id=42162 Other places will have it too. No idea about the USA.
  10. You're in the UK. The site will only load if your IP is in the USA. They won't ship outside the USA either.
  11. Friday Night Dinner is definitely worth a watch. Don't bother with Black Books series 3. The first two are very good, but the last one drops off a cliff quality-wise. If you want to go obscure, watch 15 Stories High. Absolutely brilliant. Others to try: The Day Today and Brass Eye. The only problem with The Day Today is as it is over 20 years old, eveything looks completely normal now. The Book Group is quite good. Monkey Dust and Nighty Night are dark brilliance. The Great Outdoors - very English and only 3 episodes. Dag (from Norway). Seven Periods With Mr. Gormsby (from New Zealand). Already mentioned, but Spaced (at its best; one or two episodes are really quite bad) is some of the best TV ever made.
  12. Rough Trade's release date is 13/5/16 which is next Friday. Those in the UK will very likely have their copies on Thursday or Friday. RT do not send dispatched messages. Someone higher up the page has picked their copy up from GH, so those are likely to be on their way soon.
  13. Didn't notice you were looking for it. It's available at Amazon.co.uk: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bones-Dying-World-VINYL/dp/B01DD5N2BC/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1462523553&sr=1-1 Amazon price will be reduced by 20% due to the deduction of VAT for a non-EU customer. I'm assuming that the shipping cost will be about the same (perhaps a £ or 2 more) as that discount. So a guesstimate of the cost of buying it from Amazon is £27.50. Buying it from EMP and having it sent on to you would cost you less than £1 less than that (based on the way I dealt with RSD stuff). Probably worthwhile getting it from Amazon as you are pretty bulletproof if something goes wrong. There's also the Amazon price guarantee if their price goes down.
  14. http://www.juno.co.uk/products/carina-round-deranged-to-divine-record-store/606413-01/ http://www.amazon.com/Deranged-Divine-CARINA-ROUND/dp/B01DSY6VB6 I don't use Juno myself as their UK shipping is one of the most expensive around, but I have heard good things about their international shipping from others here.
  15. Proper details of the tour vinyl have appeared on Facebook: If anyone can get me one, that would be just fantastic. If it helps, Munaf was on the merch table when I saw them. If he's there, say it's for one of the people who saw them in Glasgow and asked him for it then.
  16. Whether you are protected depends on the Terms and Conditions you have agreed with the courier you are using (USPS?). Sending the other way across the pond without tracking means that the item is insured up to £20 and the UK postal service state deep on their website how long you have to wait before something is declared missing and you can make a claim for that £20 (with proof of value). This is all stuff that is well worth knowing if you are sending anything of value through the mail, even if it's internal to the US. It's unusual for something to take more than two weeks to cross the Atlantic but it does happen. I'd find out the stuff in the above paragraph before deciding whether you are risking too much money by sending it without tracking.
  17. Double post land as well. Posts never move on from 'Saving' for me. Pages won't force refresh and double posts occur
  18. Don't like the circular profile image. The site still stores my old profile picture, so is there any way I can move the circle around that image to re-centre my fox?
  19. I hadn't thought about this record in years. It's one of my 90s shameful loves. Still wouldn't get it on vinyl. SRC just makes sure I'm not tempted.
  20. Nonesuch are selling Requiem For A Dream on their website. Doesn't sound like the RSD version, but also doesn't say what the difference is: http://store.nonesuch.com/artists/clint-mansell/requiem-for-a-dream-2lp-mp3-bundle.html?eml=2016April29%2F3414895%2F6011771&etsubid=42749577
  21. 3 copies in The Netherlands at €39.99 on Discogs right now. Cheap is a relative term, but I don't think you'll see it any cheaper. This is one of those that I don't see going down in price. Review from Discogs: The copy I have is for a (lucky) US VCer so I can't listen to it. Remember there appear to be two other pressings of this, one of which has a review on its Discogs page: https://www.discogs.com/Nirvana-Olympia-Community-Radio-Session-April-17th-1987/release/7565427 https://www.discogs.com/Nirvana-KAOS-FM-Live-17041987/release/7151519
  22. Not quite (see below). There appear to be 5 variants of this. Indie Recordings have 3: clear, clear blue and black. Roadrunner have 2: blue marbled and blue & white. Blue marbled seems to be the retail version. Blue and white is available from Roadrunner (linked above), Kings Road in the USA and EU (standalone and bundled) and from the Warner Store in the USA: http://store.warnermusic.com/nattesferd-vinyl-1.html
