  1. My tracking didn't update until it reached my local post office.
  2. My $6 ImportCDs order of Music Complete came in today. It is the clear version. According to some people on Discogs there appears to be a lot of copies with skips at the beginning of Disc 1, so I'll have to check that out later today.
  3. I just double checked my copy of Animals and it matches this release. Speed is correct. While we're on the subject of records with messed up speeds, I might as well say that you should avoid this copy of Who's Next at all costs. This is the version that also comes with the Phases box. The songs are noticeably slower than they should be. Nah, it was just being discussed on the Hoffman forums; he doesn't have anything to do with them.
  4. I have a later US pressing with a barcode on it, I'll have to check this. Off topic, but supposedly the remaining Pink Floyd albums are getting reissued over the next few months. (They were up on Amazon UK but removed probably because it was getting a lot of attention on the Steve Hoffman Forums and somebody put them up too early).
  5. I think you heard wrong. My original copy of The Wall sounds excellent and better than any other version I've heard. The tempo and pitch are fine.
  6. These are out today. If anyone picks them up I'd love to hear some sound quality reviews, considering past reissues haven't been received well.
  7. Long shot, but I'm looking for a NM copy of this. It came out a few years back for RSD. I'll pay $45. Thanks.
  8. Those Music Matters reissues are awesome as hell, I just wish I could afford more of them.
  9. ImportCDs has this priced at $23.99. Might be the place to get it in the US if Amazon doesn't lower. http://www.importcds.com/hot-fuzz/602547859303
  10. Good news. Surprised it took them this long. Hopefully they do a non picture disc version of Sam's Town one day.
  11. XL has bought the rights to Radiohead's back catalog from Parlophone, meaning we should see XL issues of these albums from now on. http://www.uncut.co.uk/news/radioheads-back-catalogue-purchased-xl-recordings-73494?lazyload=0&utm_source=flipboard&utm_medium=app&utm_campaign=flipboard_rss_feed&utm_content=uncut&utm_campaign=uncut-05-04-2016-05-04-2016&utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter
  12. The Back to the Future box came in today. Pretty cool set. Glad I went with the box over the separate releases.
  13. NA tour dates were just released. Will definitely be going to the show in Detroit. I wonder how much that "Besta" package costs... If it's priced insanely like every other VIP package I'm out but if it's only an extra $20 or so I'll probably spring for it.
  14. That Phish is listed as a "RSD First" release, not a RSD only release.
  15. Got it in today. Didn't expect the blue disc to be marbled, which is nice. No seam splits, thank god! I haven't heard the remaster yet so I'm excited to dive into this album again.
  16. Chances are it'll get officially reissued in the next couple years, so I'd wait. Every time I've bought expensive original pressings they seem to announce a reissue the day after!
  17. Back in September, according to a Steve Hoffman Forums user, Creation Records' Facebook posted a video of Loveless with "more to come..." in the comments. That post was soon taken down. Creation also posted this on Twitter, which was originally a link to a Loveless stream. Either Mcgee's recent post is just saying how he likes the song "Soon" or it's a hint that something is coming soon. Yes, it appears Sony Legacy owns the rights to MBV's back catalogue. Maybe McGee and Shields are both involved somehow? I can dream...
