Music that dads like. Think Springsteen, Bob Seger, Elton John, and The Who. Bands like The National and Wilco get called dad rock for some reason. It is a stupid term. This doesn't sound like dad rock anyway.

I have a couple of questions. Is the orange vinyl only part of the "Department Of Record Stores" thing, or is the black one too? When you say "don't have to fight over copies" are you just referring to the limited one? Also, do you know by any chance who is doing the actual reissue? Thanks

Yellow vinyl is an odd decision though. Wonder how this compares to the self-released reissue.

I've heard horrible reviews about the Plain Recordings pressing. I'll probably pick it up just to have it though. Thanks for reminding me. Also, it's a bit disappointing the bonus tracks from the 2005 CD remaster aren't present on here.

Hopefully this leads to the debut, Reinhold Messner, and Ben's solo albums being reissued.

I literally just bought an original pressing for $70. Dammit haha. This would happen to me.

I just got my clear copy in from Amoeba. Vinyl sounds great; the vocals especially shine. I think the clear color suits the artwork best.
