Just gonna say that Doris is one of the most solid releases from start to finish from last year, in any genre. A vinyl release would be extraordinary. But as the months go by my hope in such is dwindling.

Not most of the anime. They've been in one big case since 2009 and I've moved multiple times since then. I know how much that sucks since I'm pretty ocd about not having the total package for my collection. I'd go pretty low on those because of that, especially if someone got multiple. edit: I also have Fruits basket complete, Gunslinger Girl and a few other anime sets which do have all their cases and boxes, but I haven't decided to part with them yet

I'm very ocd about my digital collection as well. My ipod is 160GB but it really only holds 147GB. I'm continually having to delete in order to listen to new music on the go which is a repeatedly painful experience.

Mongrel sold!

Last month I saw the Neutral Milk Hotel reunion tour at a soldout new orleans show. It was indescribable and I never imagined they'd have the energy they presented. Last year at Dir en grey in Atlanta I had such a great time I had to pull over on the interstate and puke, completely sober, afterwards. Only recent disappointment was Chelsea Wolfe's reaction to the new orleans crowd. The show was great but she seemed put off by the people and she hasn't booked another new orleans show since. At the same show the members of true widow were so drunk that the guitarist forgot how to sign his name, resulting in him hovering over my record for five minutes poking it with a Sharpie. Great performance still.

Looking to part with some things I've held on to through the years since I'm in between jobs and my girlfriend's birthday is in a month. It is with a heavy heart that I must attempt to sell my very cherished copy of Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. A huge mishap with the bank has my family attempting to come up with hundreds of dollars in mere days, and this is the most valuable thing I own, besides my car lol. The record is in near mint condition. I haven't played it. The sleeve is in very good condition, with only minor shelf wear. I have all the inserts; the original red REVENGE inner sleeve, the lyric insert which include handwritten lyric sheets pictured on one side, and the logo+guns stencil, of course never used. I am the original owner. I truly do not wish to part with this, and if a sale doesn't occur before the deadline with the bank I will not be selling it. I am hoping to find $160ppd for this. I know it's an extremely high number and I regret asking for it (especially because I plan to repurchase this later this year, and I know it'll hurt whenever I have to pay over $200 for another copy.). This is a last option for me. But I don't even have a player right now so maybe there's someone out there looking for a copy who would also cherish it and actually give it the spins it deserves. I sold my copy on eBay for 50 and I've regretted it ever since. Didn't know a repress was on the way so that's great to hear.

I intended to describe the numerical rating as strong to intensify how I felt about the album. I was later referring to Rooms as amazing and not it's numerical score. My wording got sloppy, I understand the confusion. My bad.

The coke-bottle greens are almost sold out if anyone was considering getting one. The compilation is pretty relaxing and nice as a whole piece. I enjoy it.

This seems to be the most common reaction. And I agree, but in the way that I consider Somewhere a strong 9.5, Wildlife a near perfect 9.6 and this an amazing 9.2. So far Rooms is my personal favorite release of 2014.
