Question for anyone who attended the us tour. How long does Majeure play for/how long after doors opening does Mogwai begin performing? If doors are at 7 would Mogwai not be playing until after 9? Trying to see if I could rush to new orleans in time.

Speaking of, why didn't baseball and menorah get a vinyl release whenever they did the rarities tour? Baseball has some of the most crucial songs to my teenage years on it.

I'm so insanely distraught to be missing them in new orleans Sunday. I've had a ticket for half a year but I have to bring my girlfriend back to her dorm and will miss it. If anyone wants the ticket, I'd love to trade it for a record from the merch table. Lol. Planning to ask a friend about that deal actually.. anyone know which records they've got with them on this tour and how much they're selling for? In the meantime I'll be weeping over opportunity lost. They shall remain high on my "haven't seen, must see" list.

Is it abnormal to dislike crowdsufers/stagedivers? I know its a bit off topic but I always grimace whenever I take a glance behind to see a tumbling 150 pound guy rolling in the air on top of frustrated hands pushing him towards my location and the stage. Then they just "dive" right back in and "surf" backwards. It's a bit difficult to focus and enjoy the performance whenever you're defending your nose from stray knees lol. Similar to how any time I've attended a larger concert and a teenage girl passes out/overheats and for three mintes everything revolves around getting them out (which is obviously necessary) I'm just reminded of whenever I attended the Yeezus tour and all of I'm In It became a security guard wall attempting to pull out one teenage girl and the majority of the song was missed by everyone on the right side of the crowd.

Seven years ago I considered Max Bemis the most clever modern songwriter and I cannot stress how accurate I find this to be all these years later.

Yeah the copy I mentioned is definitely no longer on discogs. I could swear I read that price in an email though because I was surprised to see it.

If I'm not mistaken a clear copy went up on discogs for $40 this week. Seemed a good price to me, but I skimmed the email so it's possible I'm mistaken.

Some great advice. Whenever I escape this financial rut and I'm no longer stacking quarters into sets of four attempting to afford dollar-menu dinners, I definitely have a plan now. Haha

Maybe the fact that those copies are signed will keep the remaining copies at a less high price evaluation.. I just hope to find one for under fifty one day when I have the cash readily available. Awesome that you got a reasonable deal though, I know it musta took you ages of attempting.

Two signed copies, one red and one green, are on eBay, listed by the band. The current bid for both is 150+. They end in two hours. I just now noticed. What a terrible time to have no income.

I'm surprised he's still attempting to progress in the industry. Largest case of talent dwarfed by personality/choices I've ever witnessed. Won't deny he's an impressive vocalist though.
