  1. It plainly states in the description that they are black with blue variants randomly inserted. (Pitching it as a 'colored' version in the title is misleading though.)
  2. Whenever in doubt, just hire a whore. Everyone likes whores.
  3. You mean that you don't like paying $1 per minute of music? Me neither. Fuck that.
  4. Who hasn't wanted to jam out to "You Are My Rose" on vinyl? EDIT: Wait, is this real? I'm not finding any info at all about it online.
  5. Time for some spring cleaning! PM me if you want to make a deal. http://www.discogs.com/seller/thejesset/profile (Note: Beck's Modern Guilt is for sale only, not trade) I also have a couple Poor Righteous Teachers test pressings on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261841040915?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 As for trades, here are some things that I'm looking for: https://deadformat.net/collection/thejesset/wants Please PM me for any purchases instead of buying through Discogs, and I will give a small discount relative to normal selling fees. And if you want to buy multiples I'll give you a little hookup. Thanks!
  6. I just wanted to point out that Captured Tracks tweeted last week that there were 1400 of these pressed. And then deleted the tweet. A link to the deleted tweet is in the comments here: http://www.reddit.com/r/vinyl/comments/313lqi/captured_tracks_just_announced_a_limited/ Once again, Captured Tracks is being shady. Don't expect these to be as limited as you think they are.
  7. My one-time use code has been used, I'd guess, around 4-5 times now. After a couple drunk purchases I lost track with how many 30% records I have on the way. It's both a good and a bad thing. Good because the earlier single-LP orders that I placed showed up in fantastic shape, and because of the limitations of the coupon that is all I can order at a time. I just wish that the selection was a little better at this point, because you guys cleaned 'em out.
  8. Really? Almost every artist I look up only has one or two releases in stock, or is completely missing from the database. I've found a handful of albums that I'd want, but IMO they have one of the least comprehensive music selections of any large music dealer that I've bought from.
  9. Yep, and it'll probably be something like 75% off everything (plus $15 shipping per LP)
  10. Not buy directly from them again because they can't stay on top of their business.
  11. Wow. Yeah I sent them an email cancelling my order 48 hours ago, and filed a PayPal claim because they haven't responded. Yet my order was shipped today also. wtf?
  12. Like a lot of people here, I liked 'em until I fucked with 'em. Now I would discourage anyone from giving them money. I got no response when I sent them an email asking for a refund. Just had to file a PayPal claim.
  13. Both single-record orders that I received were in 1/2" thick LP mailers, and both arrived (surprisingly) in Mint condition.
  14. Exactly. If I'm "entitled" for thinking that a open-ended wait time of over 2 weeks is too long, you're "gullible" for giving someone money and expecting that you'll get your order 11 months later.
  15. Day 15: Still hasn't shipped. Cancelled my order & requested refund. After a week went by I knew something was up, so I went ahead and placed an order with Amoeba just in case. Of course, it has already arrived and my CT order still says "Shipping label created." I'm a patient motherfucker, but there's no viable excuse for this.
  16. Received my final 3 records today... The LP mailer was open-ended, meaning that the albums were exposed (seriously, who's the dumbass that thinks this is a kosher way to ship vinyl?!). The bottom right corners of all three were dented, which you could see before I even opened it, but they weren't bent horribly. It's honestly not worth my time sending them back, but still annoying. Never going to buy multiples in the same order from GH again.
  17. The Fela Kuti box set is out-of-fucking-hand good. I grabbed it for $85 a few months ago and I have no regrets. There aren't many musicians who have had as many nearly perfect albums as Kuti has had, and this set is, in my opinion, the best of the three. I just wish that I could have picked up the first two when I had the opportunity. EDIT: So, this has been out for quite a while... if it was really only limited to 2,000 copies, why are they still so widely available? It seems like there are tons of places still selling it!
  18. Come on guys. This goofass deserves some more downvotes.
