  1. 2nd press of Seven Sisters of Sleep - "Pissdrinker" 7" is now available. Get on it! http://www.vedavu.bigcartel.com/product/seven-sisters-of-sleep-pissdrinker-7-2nd-press
  2. Sick of male T-Swift fans not being acknowledged. Ever. Contrary to popular belief, we are not all pigs.
  3. What's the difference between both covers? U.S. version has "T.S" on the front cover and UK version has "Taylor Swift" spelled out?
  4. Nah, you're not alone. I love that album now. I absolutely hated it when it first came out and I still don't like the title track. But Anthem For The Unwanted is one of the best NFG songs ever.
  5. Did you then immediately throw a label on the box with my address and stick it in the mailbox...?
  6. Will buy a colored variant for $30-40. Someone hook this guy up.
  7. VIP Package # 2 is now available without ticket to the gig for $60.00. This is tempting, but I really want to know what the slipcover looks like and how limited it is, as Resurrection is quickly becoming one of my favorite albums of all-time. Link: http://ticketspin.com/nfg-sleepwhenidie
  8. Never had one single problem with SRC, but I can understand their pre-order methods are obnoxious. I'll wait closer to the release date for this before ordering. Plus Hot Topic may have a better variant.
  9. Welp, you waited too long and now it's sold out. Test press is going online soon.
  10. Wow! Great timing. I am actually repressing Heavens - Patent Pending. Please PayPal $29.99 to [email protected]
  11. Great point. I definitely had that mindset with Nothing's Gonna Change... where I couldn't dig it at first, but now it has some of my favorite JTE songs. Although after my first listen to Harlem River Blues, I was hooked instantly from beginning to end. I did not have time to spin Absent Fathers last night, so I am hoping for a solo track or something with some twang. I wouldn't bet on it. You're right about him sticking with this new style. It's hard to fault someone with so much talent. As a fan, sometimes you just have to adapt.
  12. I would have to agree about Single Mothers being his worst. By a mile. Matt Pence has a sloppy style with tons of ghost notes and awkward grooves that are too much for the music. That is how it sounded to me live. And now every time I throw on Single Mothers, I can't help but hear those dumb ghost notes. JTE's best touring band was on the Harlem River tour with the gal playing stand-up bass and the cool bearded dude playing the fiddle.
  13. That's honestly the best way to put Single Mothers, just off. It is just hard for me to enjoy as a whole. He slurs most of his lyrics and the blues is laid on real thick. It also doesn't help that I don't enjoy his new live band. The drummer I saw last month did the drum tracks on the album and is super sloppy.
  14. The slipmat is super rad. I was hoping that print would be on a t-shirt too, but no luck. He's never had the best merch. I'll spin it tonight and post my initial reactions to the record. Crossing my fingers for some jams.
  15. Justin Townes Earle's second album of 2014 available now for order. I received my pre-order package w/ slipmat this morning. Cannot wait to spin this, as I was a bit disappointed with "Single Mothers." Anyone else feel the same way? BUNDLES AVAILABLE AT KINGS ROAD: http://kingsroadmerch.com/vagrant/?id=1759
  16. They were sold out of the tour variant at the Denver show last week, but had the online exclusive readily available. Which rules because the blue/white split is better looking and the most limited out of 850. Super happy with this repress and the show was perfect.
  17. For those that ordered from shopradiocast, 1989 is shipping tomorrow!
