I'm honestly not familiar with him at all so your opinion is very valid. Re-scores just don't hold a lot of appeal for me, but you know what, that's what makes an item like this perfect to be an exclusive.

One Way Static is selling the OST for Wolfcop as a mondocon exclusive. And yeah, the TCM 'fan' score will only be available to people who bought screening tix and not at the booth according to Death Waltz. Waxwork hasn't said what they'll have record-wise yet to my knowledge.

Yeah, I was going to just to see if there was anything they could do, but I need to try giving it a spin first. When I took it out and inspected the record it looked like it hadn't gotten warped but I want to give it a listen tonight to figure out for sure.

I'll be there too, hence the curiosity.

I'm going to ask because I never actually watched it, but did The Shield have a concrete, satisfying ending? I'm getting nervous of Sutter playing the vague card at the end of the day which would be way too unsatisfying for a show of this nature.

Definitely. And it gets better on repeat viewings once you're aware of the intended tone and have had a chance to digest it.

I write for a horror mag and work for a prominent convention...one of my colleagues/best friend has a full-time business managing celebrities for appearances. Occassionally I'll travel with him and help him out assisting his clients for the weekend. This was the case back in May down in Dallas, TX for a show. I got to assist Sharni all weekend, then we secured free passes to a private suite to watch Ghost perform at the House of Blues (the band came to the convention and were fans of my buddy's clients so they offered this up as a thank you for the free photo-ops and autographs). We told Sharni about it so she joined the 3 of us and it was pretty fucking great; she is one cool bitch.

I went to see a Ghost concert with Sharni Vinson and it may have been the best hour of my life.

I just pre-ordered this and I'm not even sure why. I own nothing by Pink or Dallas Green, but I really enjoyed that song. I guess if I come to my senses in the next few weeks I can always cancel.

So are you guys just guessing Trick 'r Treat because of the pumpkin image? Or has Waxwork made any other comments hinting at it?

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the demand for this one. It's a newly made-up score that is being performed a couple of times but no release of the film will actually include it. I'm attending Mondo Con but opted not to get tickets for the performance...had the vinyl been available aside from the screening I'd have probably picked it up and given it a spin, but as it stands I'm not really gonna lose any sleep over it.

So yeah, that Repine track is really growing on me. Can't stop humming along to it for the last few days...

Otherwise most markets have their general on-sale tomorrow at noon. I agree that I wish Reggie were just playing a regular set, instead of a full album. And yes, had the Get Up Kids been on the bill as well playing 'Something to Write Home About' I'd have gone berserk. Got tix for me and the gf for the night before Thanksgiving in Philly. We met seeing Saves the Day at Warped this summer so this should be a good time.

I'm in for the October screenings! Like Bruce said, I can't commit to every night but I'm definitely interested. I also don't have netflix - but I do own damn near 1,000 horror films on DVD/Blu-ray.

I was actually the very first subscriber ever to HorrorHound Magazine lol. I may be biased, but their shows are the best too. It's going to be an expensive couple of months...far too many top-notch blu-ray releases on the horizon. Hopefully the big retailers will have some savvy Halloween sales.
