  1. Up on Amazon.uk now: Ocean Beach/Shock Me: http://amzn.to/1Jj0w2b Rollercoaster: http://amzn.to/1Nt91Z6 Bridge: http://amzn.to/1JsOeqI Down Colorful Hill: http://amzn.to/1dsgRpB
  2. Since it's not Caldo Verde, but Island, I would think that Amazon would be a safer bet that usual. But to each his own. I'm doing the normal Koz thing... ordering from multiple places. I can at least cancel Amazon easily if I need to.
  3. Looks like there might be some 6-LP Carnegie Hall first pressings up on Amazon for its initial release price. http://amzn.to/1GuYtng The second pressing doesn't ship until mid-July if I remember correctly.
  4. First track up on Soundcloud. Am I supposed to dance to Radio Dept now? https://soundcloud.com/labrador-records/the-radio-dept-occupied-1
  5. Denison Witmer's 2005 release, Are You a Dreamer, is finally getting a vinyl release on Count Your Lucky Stars/New Granada Records on July 25, 2015. Each label is going to have an exclusive color, CYLS has Sea Blue (200 copies), and New Granada has Oxblood (200 copies). There is also going to be a black vinyl version, which according to CYLS's webstore... is limited to 100. Notable collaborators on this record: Innocence Mission’s Don and Karen Peris, Sufjan Stevens, James McAlister (Sufjan Stevens, Alexi Murdoch), and Shara Worden (My Brightest Diamond) New Granada: http://newgranada.bigcartel.com/product/denison-witmer-are-you-a-dreamer-10th-anny-vinyl-lp Count Your Lucky Stars: http://countyourluckystars.bigcartel.com/product/denison-witmer-are-you-a-dreamer-lp Amazon: http://amzn.to/1IFK77F
  6. I am hoping it will be in the $50-60 range. $100 for each of the deluxe editions coming our way would be painful...
  7. Zachary Cale's new album, "Duskland," will be out on No Quarter on August 7th. Those unfamiliar with Zachary Cale, I oddly think his Wikipedia page does a halfway decent job: Buy @ No Quarter: http://noquarter.net/shop/ Buy @ Amazon: http://amzn.to/1KSM9nl A quick heads up for those who do like Zachary Cale, or who now find that they want to hear/own more - he still has some of his Low Light Roughs cassettes on his Bandcamp site. Um.. an edition of 30 I'd grab one soon if you want one. And a track from his last LP, Blue Rider: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OA1niviIRk
  8. They Might Be Giants' latest album, Glean, will be released on vinyl August 7, 2015. It's already out on CD/download, but they have a special die-cut vinyl edition available. Its on their website for $25, and says that due to vinyl production delays (go figure!), it won't ship until July. So, if you order through them, you might get it a few days earlier than Amazon. Amazon has it for $16.99 though... http://amzn.to/1FWIeAh From TMBG webstore: THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS’ NEW ALBUM GLEAN They Might Be Giants' new studio release is Glean and it is the first disc to capture a part of the epic 2015 Dial-A-Song year. From the folk-pop majesty of "Answer" to the manic violin-driven “Music Jail, Pt. 1 & 2” to the bluesy bass-grind of “Underwater Woman,” Glean is uncompromising in range and unrelenting in quality; this is a must-have set of tracks. This SPECIAL DIE-CUT VINYL EDITION will not be in print for ever. While it is not a limited edition per se, it is a custom printing. The whole in the center reveals the inner sleeve to provocative and gruesome effect. Get it before it gets you!
  9. Up on Amazon now for a few bucks cheaper too. http://amzn.to/1GI11F6
  10. For those who are black vinyl enthusiasts, it appears the new Beach House is up on Amazon. http://amzn.to/1GH7kqB I'd imagine they are not going to be Loser editions - I don't believe that Amazon really ever gets those.
  11. You can get the grey version, which is limited to only 300, for about $20 on discogs. http://www.discogs.com/sell/release/1373853?ev=rb
  12. Yes, Bull Moose has it (now) too: http://www.bullmoose.com/search?q=radio+dept&SC=1 Amazon is the retailer that Labrador is pointing to from their site though - so I'd think that they are likely to get the lion's share. I keep seeing people saying they are passing on 3 songs... but I'd wait to hear those songs before you pass. You can always cancel later. Radio Dept has put out some great singles/EPs in the past, and who knows when it might sell out.

  14. I know that Radio Dept was mentioned here earlier - and I just wanted to give a heads up that they have a new 12" coming out on June 16th, limited to 1000 copies. I made a thread here if you're interested: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/113427-po-the-radio-dept-occupied-616/#entry2315996 I've scoured the internet trying to get audio samples from SOMEWHERE - but alas, nothing yet.
  15. Also up on Amazon Germany for folks in Europe. Amazon Germany: http://amzn.to/1JwOP97
  16. Its official - from Labrador's FB page. "We just received the The Radio Dept. 'Occupied' 12". It's looking great! Out June 16. 1000 copies world wide."
