I remember that RSD when San Antone came out - I was running around NYC trying to get one and I was out of luck. Then... they just popped up everywhere for $5 in the next few weeks. It was one of the most pleasant and unexpected experiences from what I generally feel is the worst record-buying day of the year.

I know this thread is a whole lot of Newbury Comics hate... so I'd like to join in. WTF, they charge minimum of $30 for a record, then ship it in a regular-ol-mailer and not AT THE VERY LEAST an oversize amazon-style mailer?? It blows my mind that anybody uses those regular mailers anymore, especially at their price point. Why the bitching? Because I paid over $30 for the new B&S and it came looking like shit. First and last time ordering any of these exclusives.

Supposedly this is limited to 2000 copies, and will only be pressed on black. This information comes from Luna Records, so I'd consider it dubious at best.

I wouldn't be too worried about your Amazon orders just yet. I ordered super-early and have yet to hear about shipping... but I've never had anything cancelled like this when I ordered early. Has Bull Moose begun shipping yet?

I've got an original "Christmas Spirit," and its pretty fantastic. I've never heard the other, but apparently its been OOP for years. I know its pricey.... I probably won't get "Christmas Spirit," but its going to be tough not to get the "Cash Family."

The 1963 album, Christmas Spirit, is presented in gatefold and pressed by R.T.I. on 180gm white vinyl.
