Definitely give OoT another chance. It's a great game. I know that the Majora's Mask 3D remake was a noticeably easier than the N64 version, so idk if they kinda dumbed OoT3D down and made it less fun. It'd be interesting to see a more-open-world Zelda game. I mean, Zelda games have always been open world, just not to the same level as Elder Scrolls or something. I wasn't that big a fan of Twilight Princess. I've been meaning to replay it and see if my opinion has changed. It started out really fun but it declined for me. Definitely play Wind Waker, too. It's a beautiful and fun game. Also kinda easy, but long.

Whole-heartedly agree. I was on the fence at first on whether or not I liked it more than Sunbather, but I definitely do. I still need to see them live.

Both albums got me hooked immediately. Idk about you, but when I had listened to Sunbather I was already kinda in to the DSBM-type stuff, which, I know Sunbather isn't a DSBM album, but there's definitely similar feels there. Hearing Sunbather was a pretty refreshing moment for me. Especially the title track. A section of that song is still my ringtone. The intro to Baby Blue is such a jam. It's pretty crazy listening to Roads to Judah and then this.

Nintendo is having no chill with these Zelda remakes, huh? Want to get a Wii U just for the Wind Waker HD. Shit's beautiful, and it's a fantastic game. The only remake I've gotten my hands on is the Majora's Mask one. One of these days I'll snag an Ocarina of Time 3D.

Yeah, I'm super impressed by the members of Deafheaven. They really did a great job of not releasing Sunbather 2.0 but still wrote fantastic material. Luna is their best song written, hands down.

Jumping on the purple was the best vinyl decision I've made in awhile. The only thing about the packaging that I feel kinda weird about is that the back is just blank.

The Act Appalled demo is the most interesting one imo.

I can't say I've changed that much since I was 17. Main differences are religious views, music taste, and I started liking food other than hamburgers, pizza, and hotdogs.
