  1. Ordered one on the 9th from amazon.ca and it is currently in transit.
  2. No idea, that was just the first thing to come to mind.
  3. Yeah, I figured as much. I meant it would be amazing if it actually happened but I doubt it would.
  4. I got mine in the mail today. The box isn't beaten up, Comfort Eagle has a little bit of a bent corner, not a big deal. I started with Motorcade and it sounds a bit thin, however I'm thinking that might possibly be the actual recording, I haven't listened to this album in a while and I remember thinking the fidelity of the cd was weird when I had it in high school. I just turned down the treble and cranked the bass and it sounds quite a bit better. *Update* Fashion Nugget sounds fucking awesome!
  5. My order says shipped but I didn't get a tracking number. I'm not going to worry about it unless all the other Canadian folks start posting about receiving them before mine shows up.
  6. $130 from Canadian Popmarket, what the fuck?!?
  7. It'd be great if American Football was playing the Toronto Riot Fest.
  8. I realized that I left my middle initial off when I put in my credit card info (I don't know why I didn't use paypal to check out). I emailed their customer service to let them know and I already heard back saying it's not a problem. I am so excited to get this boxset, I really hope it's not cancelled! Edit, my order also just changed to "Ready to ship"!
  9. Do you think you'll have that Glow in The Dark one (or any copies for that matter) at Pouzza Fest?
  10. Anyone know how much the Tour press selling for at shows? My sister is seeing him tonight and I want her to pick me up one.
  11. I got to open for Gwar without their costumes two years ago. Legally they had to go under the name RAWG. It was the only time they did a RAWG show outside of the US and it was an outdoor benefit show for the Guelph Food Bank. They flew into Canada just for this benefit show and played for next to nothing since it was a benefit. I really respect them for that. Dave ended up liking our band and wrote a review as Oderous and posted it on his site. He was also in the process of creating art for our next album cover, which we all thought was really crazy. He was such a nice guy. I've listened to them since I was 13 and never would have thought I would have got to meet them let alone open for them and everything else. What a huge loss for metal fans everywhere!
  12. Yup, I'll definitely buy this at some point! Thanks for posting this!
  13. I really want a repress of you are the quarry. I kinda stopped listening to Morrissey for a while but I'm getting back into him and that was always my favorite of his solo albums.
  14. $38.34 US including shipping. That's almost half the price than it would be from Soundgarden. Still a bit overpriced but much more resonable. I'll preorder it and cancel if I find a better deal.
  15. Yeah, I'm not impressed with the response but it was just some low level customer service guy from "Bravado Merchandise" clearly this guy had no answers or power hence why he couldn't offer any information about pressing or mastering. I'll cave and buy this. But I'll do it from amazon.ca or importcds and save on the shipping at least.
  16. I got this response today. Doesn't address the pressing or mastering question I asked though. Just the price. Hello, Thank you for taking the time to email Bravado. Its a lttle high on the price I would agree but vinyl can vary in price. That's really not too expensive by today's standards. I paid around $49.00 for Mastadon's Crack the Sky on vinyl when it came out and I was working at a record store at the time. 180 gram vinyl is much heavier and way better quality than the floppy stuff from the 70's and 80's. Its also a double album which makes it more. Other than that I can't really tell you much more. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us. Sincerely, Bryan
  17. The only things I really want are the Cake box set (which at 900 copies I probably won't get and they'll probably release the albums separately later anyway) and the Soundgarden 5x10 box set, which will be available long after RSD just like the other Soundgarden RSD releases in the past. The Dino Jr 7" box would be sweet too but I'll probably pass on it.
  18. I sent an e-mail specifically asking why it costs so much and if they could provided details about the remastering and the pressing. I'm sure I'll cave and buy it at somepoint. Hopefully importcds on amazon will have it a bit cheaper. All I know is I need this on vinyl. But I'll wait until I hear about the quality.
  19. $117 on amazon.ca That is kinda tempting... http://www.amazon.ca/Spiderland-Vinyl-Slint/dp/B00IKM5MO4/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1394588326&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=slint+spiderland
