Is it weird that every time I go to the grocery store, even if it's just to buy a bottle of wine or something I always end up in the meat area looking at all the meats...

I found an original Sony TPS-L2 at Goodwill for $2... sold it on ebay for like $80 because I didn't feel like trying to repair it. Man, I wish I still had it.

Only have the picture disc version on Collide With The Sky, but i would prefer to have a non-picture one. Hopefully these aren't over priced. It looks like the only one that doesn't have the price or order button yet.

So many things I want.... no money

I was referred by a friend who also collects records. I hadn't been a part of any forums in a long while. I used to be pretty active on Staredit.net when I played Starcraft and even long after that because of the community. It's nice to be a part of a community with shared interests, even if I lurk more than I post.

Just saw Senses Fail at Warped Tour and they killed it. Still haven't decided whether to order this or not. Going to listen to it first since I've only heard 2 tracks off of it.

I'll have to look at my local dealers then! I was going based off the price on amazon and a couple other major online stores.

Buying new speakers within the next month or so and I was eyeing the 10.1s since they are $300 on amazon. Now I can't decide whether to throw in the extra $50 for the 220s.

When you went in store, did they just give you any record for B1G1 $1 or did they have them marked?

The sacrifice scene was the most heart breaking scene in the show IMO. The writers were smart to bring the energy and the mood back with that ending for the episode. I had 5 people over last night and we were all screaming in my living room watching it. Can't wait for the finale.

I know this is easier said than done and seems like obvious advice, but at least one of two things needs to happen. You need to spend less money and/or make more money. In addition: the way I make sure I save enough money each month is I take the amount I want to save out of my checking account and into my savings as soon as I get paid because I don't consider my savings as "spending money." This method has worked a lot better for me than previously when I would just kinda move money over to my savings account when I felt like I had a little extra.

Only 6-7 more hours of work here.... hopefully closer to the 6 than the 7

I don't currently have a preamp. I'm running my turntable through my Numark M2 DJ Mixer atm. Given the age of my stylus, I want to upgrade my cart/stylus first. What preamp would you recommend? Edit: Also, I was considering the Pro-Ject Phono Box MM

Hey guys I was looking to get a new cart for my Technics 1210. I've heard great things about the Ortofon 2M Blue. I just noticed it's for sale on needledoctor for $236 which seems like a pretty damn good deal. http://www.needledoctor.com/Ortofon-2M-Blue-Phono-Cartridge Opinions? Anybody know why the price is so low? Edit: Nevermind on price. But still any thoughts? New to the audiophile side of vinyl (DJ'd with my turntables originally). Right now I have Shure MM4-7 but want to upgrade. These are about my max price range.
