I've got two 1210s and they are great. Heavy fucking duty.Yup they were the industry standard for DJs for pretty much all their life, even when I DJed at raves 5-6 years ago they were still using Technics. Now almost all DJs have moved on to CDs and controllers. I think I paid $300 each for mine used without a cartridge.

Yeah idk how its all decided because one of the stores near me only carried the My Little Pony and Frozen picture disks for a while and now just doesn't have any vinyl. But there's two other stores near me, one has a decent amount and the other has tons of what seems to be older stuff and clearance.

I ordered the black/red split and its supposed to get here Monday. I didn't realize the covers were going to have the die cut cover like the CDs so I'm excited to see how it looks

Just received my Wharfedale 10.2s from Music Direct as well as my cheap Sanus stands These are a huge upgrade from my Powered JBL Studio Monitors and I will be running them through a ~$500 Denon Receiver I took from my parents' garage until I can afford an amp. Can't wait to pick up some speaker wire after work and set it all up. Turntable: Technics SL-1210 MK2 Cartridge: Ortofon Blue PNP Amplifier: Denon something or another Speakers: Wharfedale 10.2
