got a call from my preferred shop that their shipment of ATDI and The Tragically Hip came in and they're holding copies for me, so that checks off the last of my list

in line at 7, checked out at 11. with the stacks people were carrying out i thought most of what i wanted would be gone so i put down some records as backup options, turns out 90% of what i put down was still available, the store was kind of annoyed that i only took four or the 14 records.
got team sleep, tricky, the spawn ost and the filter best of. sonic youth and the tragically hip didn’t arrive in time, im hoping i get a call back when they come in.

bung. in line two hours early and there’s a lineup around the building. guy in front of me said he counted and he was 68th in line. last RSD i arrived later and was 20th in line, but that was november in canada. i’m guessing nothing is going to be left

I want to thank you for posting this. Not because I'm going to buy it, because I'm not, but because this is the most batshit amazing thing I've listened to in a long time.
Clown Core are legends. The drummer is Louis Cole of Knower, who you should definitely check out too.

Believe me or not, I have never heard "Sunbather", somehow it was beyond my interest. So I bought 10th Anniversary edition and spun it yesterday, it was really good. And today, looking at the turntable, something told me - "wasn't it supposed to be 45, by the way?" 😵
This way, I bought two albums at the same time - guess I like the second better, though.
I bought sunbather without listening to it first just after the initial hype of the album, and I listened to it a dozen times on 33.3 blown away by how heavy and sludgy it was until I realized it was pressed at 45. I ended up taking uncompressed WAVs of the album and making FLACs of it slowed down to match playing it at 33.3.

LOL at it being a “test press” of 1,200 copies.
the words "test press" appear nowhere on the page, the only other place I've seen it refered to as that is some guy on reddit

Revolver looks to be teasing an actual “normal” pressing of this. I put normal in quotes because it’ll probably be a version that comes with an NFT and cost about $80.
the post says it's on the 27th

It would be nice if Burial Plot was pressed just to be a completionist, but I'm not going to hold my breath for that to ever happen

-
I'm assuming the song is about the ETID drama and breakup. it was pretty meh on first listen.

personally I prefer the piss-whirlpool, it reminds me of van Gogh's Starry Night
