CD's are mostly in jewel cases that necessitate a printed insert; records aren't. Fin.

Did you use any kind of dividers on those shelves before you filled them completely with records?

(And replace all your inner sleeves with poly ones after cleaning your records. If there's dust on your records, it's also in the sleeves.)

Yeah, the print itself is so busy, it needs some relief around it. I'd go with at least a 2" white mat (could probably even go wider) to give a good break between the print and the frame. (Frame-wise I'd go with a neutral brushed metal, but that's just personal taste.)
