I may be interested in the alt cover of "you are beneath her" my yellow copy is kind of noisy, J.Robbins + SDF means I'm in (but my local always gets sdf and I'm friends with the only other person who buys their stuff, so it generally sits for months) but this is same day as the teen suicide pre-orders. I'm going to have a hard time deciding, I may have to unload a few things to afford everything dropping that day

So we made it a journey and went to a punk and metal record store after it was a fun adventure and it was to a part of Colorado I've never visited.

Seems like a pretty good setup, I had a marantz for awhile till it burned out it was pretty nice sounding. Like he said if you can haggle down a little it would be a better deal, and since it's used and unless you know the seller well for all you know any of the pieces could be on it's last legs. Might get better response in the equipment forum, but I'm sure a mod will move it soon. Good luck and enjoy the hobby you will be broke but happy

clear isn't as durable though, which is one of the reasons they add in the carbon black and made it the standard color. I have no personal experience wearing out a clear record, but this is what I'm told

Cool thanks, my friend who is a big RFC fan played one of their albums for me to get me hyped for these issues and I really liked the music, but the sound quality was pretty poor. I'm not looking for slick production but that's good to know that it will be cleaned up a bit. I'm probably in for both. Guess we will see come the 7th what my wallet has to say about it

really? I just don't like white cause it gets dirty looking quicker than other colors. White shouldn't be any more noisy, and has the benefit of being one of the least likely colors to warp (due to white absorbing less heat). The noisiest copies will be the violet and pink since I believe you need to hand form the pellets for those 2 color variants (I could be wrong) and they can introduce dirt and oil from their hands resulting in surface noise. This is to my understanding why color in color, half and half, splatter and starburst can all potentially have higher surface noise than variants you don't have to hand form the pellets

that's awesome haha, there are copies of Bob Dylan "Blood On The Tracks" with one side being actually pressed as The Fleetwoods "Greatest Hits" sold on ebay for like 1500 bucks but Dylan collectors can be nuts

Honestly I think the songwriting got better, they have never had a knack for lyrics, but FOL was a huge step up. I think "Dogwalk" is the only song on the ep in league with anything on FOL. It's better produced and the songs get stuck in your head. I think the new song is similar to the adventures split in terms of song structure and sound. I wasn't blown away by the new song, but I enjoyed it. I am definitely interested in the new album, but I really don't get how FOL could be a let down after dark world. But different strokes for different folks. I love their sound I don't think there is anyone else combining midwest emo with dream pop/shoegaze and a little grunge fuzziness, I just think it's going to be hard to top FOL for me that album got daily play for a few weeks

part of me wants to keep up, but $6 for one song seriously? I already wasted my money on RSD I'll probably buy it eventually, but ill wait for my local to get it since it'll probably be $6 or $7 and ill save on shipping

I'm in for a Lush compilation, they were so great I just never see originals and when you do on ebay/discogs they are so expensive. 4AD had such a great run of impressive artists. Has anyone heard if ORG has plans to continue the Pale Saints reissues? Comforts Of Madness was a really quality reissue, but "In Ribbons" is probably my favorite, so it would be nice to see come to fruition.
