This one is 80w per channel - the Sansui it's replacing was 35w.

And thanks - it's gonna be ok, just my home and comfort zone flipped upside down!   But it's amicable. And I picked up a new TT this weekend! A white Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB. Listening now and very pleased with it so far. I've played 4 records on it since getting it Saturday and each has sounded fantastic. 

I just bought this Kenwood model Eleven II. Seller pic, not my doily.  

My girlfriend and I split and she's keeping our receiver, I'm keeping the speakers. The turntable was hers so she's taking that. Now I just need to decide on a new turntable.

Gonna vent here because I don't know where else to.

I've been looking to pick up a vinyl copy of Misfits' Earth A.D. for a long time, but wanted to avoid the misprinted cover that's readily available in stores. There are a lot of (non-misprinted) versions listed on Discogs so I just kept putting it off, kind of overwhelmed I guess.  Finally I saw one come up that I felt was a good price, and it was not a misprint cover. I emailed the seller to verify that it was NOT a misprint and did NOT have the black blocks on the far left statue. The seller confirmed this. 

Guess what came in the mail today?! Earth A.D. with a misprint cover! Fucking hell!   If the seller simply didn't know what I was talking about, I'd assume he would have done some quick homework to find out or simply stated that he wasn't sure. I don't see why he's purposely deceive me. But this ignorance is inexcusable. The sleeve condition (VG, maybe VG+) is something I would accept on a non-misprint cover, but with misprint, I could have picked one up new locally for a bit less than what I paid with shipping.

I haven't emailed the seller yet. Just venting. I hate dealing with returns or complaints.

I've had other issues with Discogs purchases, like receiving black records when I specifically ordered a color variant. That's happened twice. Last time the seller said "yeah sorry only black ones left" as if that was an excuse for having it listed as a color variant. I had that fucker shipped from Spain!

Got mine yesterday, and it's a beaut! The EPs really work well together, like a cohesive lost Pinback album.

Yeah they sound great. I didn't get Tri Repetae - my favorite - because I got an original sometime last year, but I got Incunabula and Amber. Anxiously awaiting the next ones! Hoping they repress some of the EPs too like Anvil Vapre, Envane, and Cichlisuite.

Yeah I just checked my tracking link and there's no update other than shipment created 3/9. USPS tracking goes dark fairly often though and then things just show up. Pretty sure it'll be here before week's end.

If anyone likes The Shins, these just went up . The gold one is /1500. Might pick one of them up.

The gold Chutes Too Narrow came out two years ago, they may be repressing at this point. I'm pretty sure it was off the site sometime last year and then reappeared, at which time I picked one up. Sounds good. I also got the maroon Wincing the Night Away that came out last year and is supposedly limited to 1200.

I love the Heartworms album cover but I'm not hard pressed to pick up a physical copy unless it really grows on me. After one listen I like it better than Port of Morrow, but that didn't take much.

Agreed that cover is like the worst of 90s cover art. Terrible. 

I'm interested in hearing it but haven't done so yet partially because of the cover and partially because I'm not that into female vocals.

Oh, new QOTSA! Exciting. I thought Like Clockwork was really good, I agree it's been their best since SFTD.

Loved Afraid of Heights but only listened to V once or twice, so I'm definitely holding out.

I saw Ty live last night and they had the Sentimental Goblin 7" at the merch table. I pre-ordered so I didn't pick it up. There was no indication of whether this was the color variant or a standard black one. But I was surprised to see it as it's scheduled for March 17 release.

Same - I'll generally give the first single a listen to get a taste and leave it at that until the whole album is out. 

I think the B side is really great and groovy. 

I don't think Rattlesnake was the best choice for an opener. Maybe if I hadn't heard it prior to the album I'd feel differently.
