Uggghhh, USPS says mine is scheduled to arrive Saturday. I had it shipped to my office, as I do for all vinyl, and the office is closed on weekends.

 

I hate new release Friday.

 

I wish Matador would at least let us download MP3s now that it's streaming. 

I would have ordered from Rough Trade if not for the higher price (compared to midheaven) and shipping from UK. That's about $55, no thanks.

Got my shipping notification today, yeeees. Hope it gets here next Thursday, as I won't have a chance to listen Friday night and the possibly not even over the weekend.

Damn I'm tempted to order this creme reissue even though my girlfriend has the original LP.

 

Girlfriends come and go, but having your own copy of a super record is forever.

 

That's one reason I hate the term girlfriend, it sounds so immature. While no relationship is guaranteed to last, we're both in our late 30s and own a house together - we're just not married. There isn't much justification for having two copies of an album.

Is the non-deluxe copy of Pale Horses on mwY's web store the white w/ blue splatter variant? I remember the band posted a picture of it but they don't specify the color on the store page. Still waiting on news about my deluxe copy and I might cave for a standard copy to hold me over.

 

Since the variants are no longer listed, I would assume it's probably black. Could all the color variants be sold out already?

Modern Lovers would be nice - $4 cheaper than the Television one. But I can't bring myself to spend $55 for both of those, before shipping.

I checked the same way as you over the weekend and saw it was shipped, but no email. Just got an email right now. My guess is you'll get your email and tracking number shortly.

I went to the order page and saw mine shipped, didn't get a notification though.

ooh, tempted by that 7 inch offer. 26 for a triple LP with a 7 inch is a great deal, but I'm always hesitant to order albums before I hear more than a song or two off of them.

Hi. Just wanted to drop in here, you know, basically to follow the thread. See a little star instead of a circle, that sort of thing. Add my name to the PNW roster, in a way. And see what I might be missing in Seattle. 

Can not wait; Grand Canyon was awesome. I was talking to my wife about it yesterday and I mentioned how Puscifer began as a pretty humorous outlet, but with the last album and now it looks like the upcoming album, it's becoming more refined and relevant musically. A lot of people miss out on them because of the "are they serious?" image that they convey. 

 

I ignored Puscifer at first because it looked and sounded like a joke, but the LP Conditions of My Parole was damn good.

I want the Monk and Television, but I've spent t much lately. Hoping they are still available next month.

I would have gotten Television as soon as it was announced, but $29 is nutty. It makes $45 seem reasonable for the 2LP Modest Mouse record.
