I've been using Discography for Discogs on Android for awhile and pretty pleased with the dev doing what he can to make tweaks along the way. The biggest issue is for classic albums that have 50+ different versions but that's hard to manage no matter the UI. It's been incredibly useful for crate-digging. I signed up for testing the beta of the official app to compare functionality, but it's cool just to have multiple apps for this.

The $6 only gets you access to the monthly store, but you don't automatically get the album of the month. I like this one rather than the album subscription because I can buy the AOTM at a later time if it's one that interests me but I'm not stuck with albums I know I don't want.

Ordered as soon as I saw them go up It's weird to realize that Red Devil Dawn was the first CF album for Merge, but never got a vinyl release & isn't a part of this. Some day!

Huh, my order said it included prints, printed on the invoice in the shipping box too, but they weren't in the box. I didn't really *need* them, but odd that they weren't included.

No denying that it sorta fits the album design, but plain clear is possibly the most boring option available to a label/band (especially since the UK gets clear but splatter). If purple is going to end up in my local store anyway, then I'll wait. In the meantime, I'll hold out hope that the interesting UK variants become less exchange rate-pricey before selling out or get over here at some point.

It's not perfect, but more often than not if you get results, then all the available releases will show up. If you're worried, then it's better to do just do a text search for the album, and dig into it from there

I've been using it for a little over a week now. At first, I was having the same trouble as one of the previous users said - I couldn't find the plus symbol on some releases. Then I realized what's going on. If you do a search for an artist or release, you still have to click on the title from the Releases tab. If you go into it through the Artist page, it usually won't work. It's weird that it works that way, but now that I know it's easy enough to do. The other thing is that releases with multiple artists, e.g., the Feistodon split single, are easy to locate from the webpage, but the app is having trouble locating them. Same thing happened with The Misfits/Lemonheads split. I'd love for the barcode scan to work better, but I know that's more a function of lack of backend data than any fault of the app. I would appreciate it if the warning that it couldn't find the album that pops up wouldn't do so immediately because sometimes as it does the release shows up on the screen underneath the warning.

My copy of the blue version arrived today. Not the band or Bandcamp's fault, but USPS decided to mangle one corner of the shipping box, so bad that the interior sleeve was completely bent up, too. Luckily, the record showed no damage.

I love the band, and I'm glad they're making more of these, but in this day (and especially given the overall cost) there's really no excuse for leaving out a DL. What bums me out is that I'll likely have to either spend money again to get the digital version from Merge when they release it, or end up finding a compiled version from a torrent site. I've resorted to the latter in the past but would prefer a 'clean' version directly from the band.

I received a refund via Paypal this morning, so it's definitely cancelled. At least the digital version is still there, and maybe they'll try again later this year or next & you'll get another chance

I ordered through the Spoon store (kungfu), and received an email today that the EP has been cancelled due to "production issues beyond our control".

I don't know about that, but I do know it's better to file complaints with the State Attorney Generals of both the state in which you reside and of the business. Some AG's take consumer complaints more seriously than others, but guaranteed that if they make an inquiry, the business will definitely notice.

Just skimming through the last couple pages of this thread and wanted to follow up with something here because I was looking into it - so far, *all* of their jazz reissues have been a stereo mix. I like the color variants, and that they're choosing some classic albums, but the fact that they're not licensing the original/remastered mono mix means I won't give them any money for these.
