I am considering pulling out the stuff specifically for my kids and holiday music into their own squares and then A-Zing the rest of it. It'll be much easier to find their requests that way and I doubt I'll play the holiday stuff outside of the holidays.

I'm moving the end of the month which means I get to re-setup my record storage/playing area. It's one of the things I'm most excited about. Thinking I should get some extra shelving now so that I don't end up having to adjust for more space later. Get to see the new apt this weekend. Bringing a tape measure specifically for this task. It's a double-edged sword in that the way RSD is set up inherently keeps lots of people from getting things they want anyhow between sheer luck, distribution and the required ability to be at a store that might have what you want at the asscrack of dawn. Increasing my chances of getting any particular vinyl is an idea I've let go of a long time ago.

I would love one of those Beach Slang's but I don't post often and I'm sure there are lots of people who'd like it too. So if you can swing it, I'd appreciate it but totally get if it's(I'm) not high on the priority list. Thanks in advance for offering!

Oh you're tempting me now. Hah. I wish there was a mock up. Checked HT and they don't have any of their albums up at all. I love how the variants matched the covers of their previous releases and it sounds like the HT is the winner.

I also ordered the Teen Dream plus two other LPs that were on sale. My first order from Newbury. Teen Dream and Bloom are the two LPs missing from my Beachhouse set. I wouldn't say I'm variant obsessed but I thought it was a nice one so I bit. You can find Teen Dream pretty much anywhere, though. As for Bloom...I'm holding out to see if a nice copy pops up on Discogs. Not in a hurry since it can be found pretty easily too.

So after setting up a turntable in the living room over the holidays, I realized we'd all enjoy more music if I moved the collection downstairs so I've rearranged the living room to include it and I'm pretty excited about it. Already trying to figure out what to do when I outgrow these shelves in approximately three seconds.

I ordered the Wild Poppies about a month ago. Emailed CT/OMG and they're saying the records haven't reached them yet. First 100 are the splatters. Anyone else order this? It's killing me to see if I grabbed a green or not.
