  1. The singles are both pretty good. The price is right. I might have to pick this one up. While their last album was a little weak, I've always enjoyed these guys. Looks like they're touring with Arch Enemy as well! Hell yeah!
  2. Looks like Equal Vision has a bunch of stuff at 20% off. Never ordered from them myself (Merchnow), but it might be worth a look. Even the scratch and dent section has been marked down. http://equalvision.merchnow.com/products/bycode?code=LP
  3. Definetly my favorite Circa Survive. It's also where I started listening to them back when it came out. The song "The difference between medecine.." was soo good I had to find out more about them. For me some of their more recent stuff hasn't been as stellar as that album and it's hard to tell based on the new single, but they might be able to resurrect that amazing sound. We will see. Regardless Anthony Green is a true talent and rarely disappoints.
  4. I'm disappointed they didn't put some more thought into the design. Their logo in the center? If you're holding it, it looks like any other generic spinner. They could've made an actual die cut 3-D version of their logo and stuck a bearing in the center. That might be worth a look....maybe.
  5. You could just put it on the turntable and spin it with no speakers connected. Just in case any sound leaks through and makes it to your ear drum, then ruining the fantasy. Or save the wear and tear on the vinyl by not having the stylus actually touch the grooves, just float the tone arm above it as it spins.
  6. Not sure where you are going with this? If you just want records to have records, I guess pick out the ones with the coolest looking album covers and display them on the wall or something? If you're just going for aesthetic, maybe look for empty record album covers for such a purpose, they will weigh less... Personally I spend a lot of time researching each record or artist before spending my money. I prefer quality over quantity. I have way too many hobbies to waste money on records that I am not even going to listen to. I also need to conserve my living space to store/display my Star Wars props and vintage video games.
  7. Got my tickets for Madison yesterday morning. The site traffic wasn't terrible. It cost me about $117.43 per ticket after taxes and fees. Not terrible. Can't wait til November now!
  8. I still haven't picked this album up yet. While I am not a completionist, is it atleast worth picking up the Green Marble? or the Pink Haze for $19.99? I've enjoyed their other albums. Selfish Machines is probably my favorite. But I have only listened to a couple songs off this album and I wasn't really blown away. I think $29.99 for some different art additions and a few demos might be ok for someone who doesn't already own the album, but it's hard to want to spend that with the other options still available.
  9. Not sure. The registration ends Friday the 23rd, and the first pre-sale starts the following Monday June 26th. I would think they would have to have the dates listed by the time sales start? It's worth a try.
  10. When I first signed up without ordering the record I was put into group 2. I was initially just going to try and get tickets. Then I went back to look at the merch, when I saw how low the price was I decided to order a copy on vinyl. Then I got a message saying I was moved into group one. On the top of my Login Page it says my name and that I am in Group 1 for Madison now.
  11. If you don't find anything Madoviashop still had the tour press in stock and Dune Devil (both colors) last I checked.
  12. I decided to do the pre-order on this one because it allowed me to get early access to concert tickets! When I first went to sign up for early tickets I got put in the "second wave", but after pre-ordering the LP it upgraded me to the "first wave" for ticket pre-sales. A nice benefit of pre-ordering if you also plan on going to see them on tour.
  13. Just ordered a couple records from Madoviashop Distro last week. I was checking their shop at work during the day, but had to wait until I got home from work to place an order. When I got home, the variant of the record I wanted was sold out, so I decided to order a different version instead. When I went to place the order there was an option to add a note, so I decided to ask about the out of stock item. No more than an hour later I got a reply saying they may be getting the item in stock before my order shipped. Sure enough the next day I got confirmation that I would be receiving the item I originally intended to order. When the records showed up, ahead of schedule, they were packaged like a tank! Great communication and great customer service!
  14. One would've been enough, but thanks for the examples guys.
  15. Nice! Thanks for the share. I just picked up a copy of the tour green album. Can't wait to get it. I've been listening to it on digital, pretty solid album. I also grabbed a copy of the new Elder release while I was there!
  16. Is there a way to make it so the quote function is not "editable"? I've had people take my posts and change the words to suit their own purposes or insult me. Why is this an option? I can understand partial quotes can be used the same way out of context, but when people take your post and insert their own words it seems kind of pointless for it to be displayed as a "quote"...
  17. While I don't like the idea that people can change your quotes, it does seem like yours was an honest mistake. It's so off topic it must've been from another forum? Or possibly a different part of this forum? Anyway, be careful when pasting from your clipboard.
  18. I am not allowed to change my name until I've made 41 more posts. Make that 40 now.
  19. It's fine. I understand people are welcome to their own opinions. I just don't like being "misquoted". Not even sure why it is an option to quote someone and then change the original message?
  20. FTFY? No you did not "fix" my post. You quoted me and changed my words to reflect your own opinion. Just because I don't want to buy one of these pieces of art, that does not mean it is not a fair price. The same goes for you. This hobby means different things to different people. I buy music to listen to it. So for me it would be silly to pay this price just to listen to the music. These releases are collectable display pieces. It is a piece of art, that houses a piece of art that is also music.
  21. Wow. These do look amazing. The fact that they are super limited and hand-signed justifies the price, but I'd be afraid to even open these or actually listen to them. I just haven't gotten to the point where I want such amazing pieces like this in my collection. Thanks for the share though!
  22. I believe the term I heard used to describe him was "Bubble Gum Trap".
  23. Good call. But I think where the genre started and where it is now are very different places. I would guess Trap is not only defined by the lyrical content. Like any type of music genre or sub genre, it has and will continue to evolve.
