https://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/the-offspring-ixnay-on-the-hombre I decided to get the Opaque Gold one from Pledge Music, It was slightly cheaper and unlike the Offspring web store I could use Paypal. I still don't have this on vinyl and it's one of my favorite albums so I figured I could splurge a little. Merry Christmas to me.

PO - Machine Head - Catharsis

The U.S. store said they will only be importing 100 boxes. I'd assume they are at least making double that many or maybe more for international market? -

Never mind it says 100. Better not wait too long! -

I'm really tempted to order this one as well. It's such a good price. I wonder how many they are going to sell. -

Thanks for the share! I've been waiting for some new Machine Head. I really enjoyed the last one Bloodstone & Diamonds. Now which variant do I get...soo many choices. -

PO: Foo Fighters - Concrete And Gold
Cardboard_Robot replied to patreeeek's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Went to the Madison Show last week. Wow. My first time seeing them. What an amazing show! They played 26 songs! Just the Foo Fighter portion of the show was almost 3 hours! They played a good selection from each album and kept a really good pace, it did not feel like 3 hours, but I am glad it was. Worth every penny and I enjoyed the new songs even more in a live format. I did not bother with the merch table as it had huge lines. -

Did anyone order the Friday the 13th Final Chapter? I ordered the Tommy Jarvis variant at the same time as Trick R Treat. Haven't heard anything about shipping yet. Just curious. I was honestly surprised they shipped me Trick R Treat already, separately. A lot of places hold your order until all items are in stock. -

I just got my Trick R Treat a few days ago. I think he is referring to the outer sleeve? Only because he said "instead of shrink wrap." It is not the thick nasty PVC that a lot of picture discs without a record jacket come in. It is a resealable (with adhesive strip) outer jacket sleeve, probably polyethylene or something like that. The packaging is really nice though. This is the first time I ordered from Waxworks, very high quality jacket. I haven't listened yet, but I've heard good things about their pic discs. It looks perfect on first inspection, but I am hoping to spin it tomorrow before I go to work in the evening. -
My wife is a huge NMOES fan. I may have to pull the trigger on this one. We will see how my next paycheck looks...Christmas is coming. I do wish there was some colored vinyl in there, even solid colors, like his sweater colors or something. I'm not really into fancy swirls or splatter or anything like that, but I do like colors. I do wish this was a bit cheaper though. Like closer to $200 or less.

Got mine today as well! Had a chance to open it up and take a look, but no time to spin it before work. Can't wait to listen he whole way through. I've been digging the videos they have been releasing.

They've done an awesome job taking new material and making it feel like something I grew up watching. Definetly get the nostalgic vibe from it. -

While your ideas are intriguing, I actually like the fact that I can watch this with my kids. I don't have to tell the kiddos to scram, like when Game of Thrones comes on. I actually like the Goonies meets X-files, made for TV feel this show has. -
PO - Brand New - Science Fiction

I did not get one either. A little late to the party. I understand the sentiment though, I prefer physical media even if it is a cd or a cassette for that matter. I am just really happy I can listen to the new album now and purchase it later when it is widely available. It's a damn good album. Can't wait to spin the real thing. -

You could just burn a new one then, or listen to the free digital copy that is included. It is kind of cool that the limited cd is one file. You have to listen to it as a whole album and not skip around like a normal cd. -

I agree with you there. As a collector, sometimes when I see the resale value of something increase, it makes me want to keep it even more. Just knowing that if I sell it I may never have a chance to purchase it again makes it that much more valuable to me. It really depends on the item though. I feel like a hoarder sometimes.. -
Wow. So glad I found this post. A few replies in and I was pretty much laughing out loud at work. It's been a rough night, now I feel reinvigorated. I find it hard to believe this was the first record that Windex ruined for the OP. Been doing this for a while? Really? I guess maybe they changed the formula on you? BTW. Where are all the cat memes?

Supposedly they are on Hiatus...Heafy is still listed as their lead singer? I've never heard of them myself, but I'll have to take a listen now. Any recommendations? I was gonna check out "Fractured" only because it features Heafy as a member. I wasn't really into metal in the 90's (middleschool years) so I missed a lot of obscure stuff like this. The first heavier album I bought was Machine Head's "The More Things Change" and it was already old at the time.

So I added it to my cart and the price is actually 16.99. So it's 15% off right now. Nice.

Not sure how big these guys are on variants. Just based off their last album, Silence in the Snow, the limited release (white) was 1000. Then there was a plain black Europe release and a plain black U.S. release.
